Just got done watching that video, as far as I can tell they are either in on it, or by asking directions in the process of the transaction he is distracting them, that'd be a sweet thing to be able to do though lol
I tried to watch this show a couple of times. I found that he went out of his way to go do his thing shirtless too often so I tuned out. His stunts were cool though.
hmm I dunno about that video TR... the guy hands the jeweler paper and the jewel just flicks through it.. there is no way the ring cost an exact amount of bills and the jeweler wouldn't have needed to give change.
Looks staged to me... I know the one guy pointed out that it was just 'plain' at the hot dog stand and I think that is t omake the rest of it look real.. the hot dog stand part was real.. the rest was staged. IMO

Ill find you some more of his stuff. I understand why you may think that, but if you had seen the amount of his shows that I have, it becomes increasingly apparent he can really mess with peoples heads.
And a lot of the time, he explains how he does it...I remember one time where he beat something like 5 of 7 master chess players playing all at once, and he explained exactly how he did it.
He does it all the time with celebs in the UK...For example here:

Well, I caught some of what he was doing while I was watching it.. I caught him say BIKE.. And some other stuff.. I dunno.. maybe some people are so weak willed that he can do this to them.. but there is no way he would have any effect on me.
Guess that's why it looks phony to me. I still have to call it all fake and magic tricks....

He openly admits it doesnt work on everybody...And he sometimes gets it wrong. But to me, thats what makes it better...The whole not being able to spot if someone is lying is complete bollocks....In his live shows he does it, they arent in on it, because there are loads of purposeful randomisations, like throwing a monkey around the room three times so it lands in a random place.
I dunno, if you dont believe it thats fine...But Im not clueless, I know a lot could be tricks...But at the same time some of the reasoning in that article is poor. Cos she moves 8 inches away it cant be done? Sure itll be harder, but come on.
I like the stuff he does, luckily those articles gave me no reason not to still do so

Hard to say what I think about the validity of "magic". Sure some of the stuff you see people like David Blaine and Criss Angel do seems 100% unexplainable, but I've seen a couple of those stunts uncovered and they're always way more simple than I could imagine.
None of it is real.. it's all tricks... ALL of it.
The fun is trying to figure out how they did it.. with some of them someone else was in on it and acting like they don't know how it was done.. when that happens I think it cheapens it.
