Heh, yeah him too....but he just wants all the powers...if only he could just kill Peter so he could get the powers the old fashioned way (though he'd probably still kill the people so he'd be unique)

Y'know it's weird...Future Hiro thought he lived in a future that needed to be changed by saving the cheerleader...but that WAS the future that Claire had survived (but that the bomb still went off in)...guess we'll have to wait and see.

What would you replace it with? Another reality tv show?
It's fine to have your opinion, but if you are going to post to a thread about something others like saying it's bad, you should at least tell us why you think that way about it.
So I watched the season finale last night and in a word...wow. I don't know about you guys but I thought the finale was amazing overall. The friends I've talked to felt the same way. Some even cried near the end (though in their defense, they are girls). And I can't really blame them, while I didn't cry the show left me almost "shocked" with a feeling of "oh my God!". I loved it and don't know how I'm going to last while I wait for season two.
There were a couple things I didn't like, but they are 100% spoilers and I know some (like I was for most of the season) are unable to watch it Monday night so I'll hold off on my detailed feedback and theories for a little bit.
So, what'd you guys think?

It seems no-one else is going to comment on this...
The one thing I didn't really like about this was the fact that Sylar survived (or at least that's the impression they left me with). Though I'm sure they'll explain how once the next season starts.
On another note, HJ (and anyone else)...do you think Parkman survives? Other than him (and Nathan obviously) it seems like the rest of the cast will survive (in particular DL and Peter).
I'm curious to see what direction they are going to take the show. My first thought was that they could have the "war" between the "heroes" and the normal people who don't understand with Peter being the focal point after this last episode (and Hiro and whatever the storyline with him in the past will become). Then I realized that would probably be too much like X-Men so I doubt they'll do that. I just hope its something more than Sylar...
Speaking of villain...the "boogeyman", who do you think it is? Sylar (that I got from the clips they showed as Molly located him)? My first impression was that it's the Haitian (who has kind of fallen of the map lately).
I really enjoyed how everything tied in with eachother...
and FYI for everyone....the interactive novels will be continuing throughout the summer. Enjoy.

You know we were trying to figure out who the new "bad guy" is as well.
SOme of us thought the Haitian but we think its someone we havent seen yet. With Sylar some people still think hes dead and that someone dragged him down the drain there but there was a bloody handprint so i dont know. Ive heard people say there was a bug that landed in Sylars blood as well but I think that has no relevance.
I know Nathan will not be alive, unless he got Peter up so high and released him. Depending on where Peter is too, Im not sure he survives. I know he has the power to self heal, but how to you self heal yourself from a nuclear explosion inside your body???
I think Parkman survives. When the bullets went back into his body there wasnt blood so I think he had on a vest. I loved how Nikki came in and hit Sylar upside the head with the parking meter.
I dont know where they will go from here, but I heard some people say the guy in blue at the end is somehow related to Hiro.
ST does it say on the nbc page when Heroes will be back on?
The bug people are talking about...I believe has a bit of relevance. It was a cockroach and I believe it was sitting on the sewer grate. A cockroach was also seen when Sylar was in Mr. Bennet's "cage" getting tests done on him, etc. I'd have to rewatch the part with the blood trail to get a better opinion of whether he went there himself or was dragged there.
I thought the same thing about Peter (how could he survive that). The "dream sequence" he had with Simone's dad makes me think he will in fact survive. And as far as how he does so....whenever he lost control of that power he glowed, I didn't (in reflection) get the sense that it would explode him from the inside...once again, I'll have to watch the scene where Ted nearly explodes.
Good call on Parkman, I didn't notice that.
And as for the guy on the hill in the final Hiro scene...I think that might be Kensei (I think that's the guy's name) who Hiro's sword belonged to (the one he stole).
I'm not sure if it says when it will be back on, but one of my friends said "125 days to go" or something like that when I was talking to him...I'll check later to see if it says anywhere.

Has anyone else thought that Mrs.Peteralli might be one of the new bad guys.
Because earlier in the season she was talking to Claire and she was talking about how she has made mistakes and she'd teach her to learn from them or somthing like that.
I also think that the next season might present the first set of heroes or the first people with special powers and how they might have been passed down their powers to their offspring and how that gene came into affect in the first heroes bodies.
Looks like MAS had the right idea.....how is everyone enjoying the new season? a few surprises here and there but I think they have done a good job of not getting too much momentum from the first season and kind of backing up and reminding us that this is still only a small portion of the world and not everyone as at the end of last season (not sure it was just me) but you got the sense that the people with powers were kind of outted.
I've enjoyed it quite a bit so far. There haven't really been any episodes (maybye one) that made me go "wow!" but if I recall correctly last season there was alot of setup (but good, exciting setup) and then a bunch of later episodes that were amazing. The episodes have definitely been very good, and its just a matter of time before we see some jaw-dropping twists.

Peter Petrelli is amazing these days. Just from the four or five powers he's shown/used this season they dude is unstoppable. I mean "Look at me, I'm telekinetic, can heal myself and can shoot lightning from my hands. Oh, and if you manage to capture me, you better find a way to kill me 'cause I can escape your ropes." Just wait till he regains invisibility/flight, lol.
As far as Sylar goes, I mentioned last season that I'd have rather not have him still alive. But seeing as how he is, capture by the company seems as if it's the best explaination as to the how he managed to. I am not sure yet whether his powerlessness is from the sword wound or something the company did to him. Either way, I think he'll get all his powers back (or at least some of them) eventually. Until then he'll be chummy with the twins so they are still around when he is able to take their powers again.

OK no has posted here in 4 weeks? Does this mean no one is feelin this season? well i am on the other side im lovin this season. especially the last two episodes. all the while i'm thinking what the heck does Kensai have to do with anything....Rude Awakening for me. I think this is where the season takes off.....now that we know what happened in the time between season 1 and season 2. any thoughts?
I've enjoyed the season so far. I kind of liked the episode where they at least explained everything that had happened the past few months, considering we weren't clued in at all as to what really happened.
The only part about this new season I don't like are those two new characters from South America. It just really hasn't been too interesting to me.
Yeah, this coming episde like the rest should be really good. There were alot of setup episodes that raise several questions and now we've been getting into the ones with lots of action, answering of questions, but at the same time more questions are left unknown or even brand new ones brought up. It'll be interesting to see how this season plays out.
As for the South Americans, I have to agree that they have been rather boring so far. Having said this, I think their storyline will get much more interesting once Sylar does whatever it is he is going to do.

Great episode last night IMO. My theory on how the virus takes off is this:
they give some of claires blood to Nikki thinking it will save her. instead the virus mutated to consume the power of regeneration and mutates out of control....thus destroying 93% of the population in a year.
anyone think Parkman will turn to the darkside? And what the heck powers does MRS petrelli have??? enquiring minds want to know?
I liked last night's episode. West actually did something useful for once, and there was no Sylar/Maya/Alejandro.
I'm not sure why Mohinder shot Noah (with a head shot no less) other than it fulfilled the paintings. You had to guess they wouldn't kill him off, but at least we know for sure.
Next week's "Hero vs Hero" thing looks sweet, though we'll see how it goes down.
