Anyone else on this board watch Lost? I've been completely taken in by it, and have seen every episode.

Care to discuss Lost?

I will discuss it.. I have seen every episode too... I've seen most of the first season twice...

It is so annoying, yet so addicting. I find myself *****ing about how dumb the characters are at points. You have the gun.. SHOOT THEM ALL NOW!!. Stuff like that. But yes I must continue to watch it each week. I've been disapointed by the last two episodes though.

Last night what? We found a friggen VW bug and drive around in it.. whoopidy doooo... And yes we all know by now the Hugo is friggen cursed.. I get it you've told us.

Last week it was- How does desmond know the future? And what is the explanation? He went into the past.. come on.. tha thas to be one of the worse and most disapointing/boring lost episodes ever.

To continue on with the complaints.. why Kill Mr Eko? Eko was awesome. And they just kill him for no apparent reason. I think one of the reasons lost is so addicting to me is because it's like a bad game of D&D. They are just making stuff up as they go along and they are getting way out in left field at this point. But I am held captive by the hope that the DM (writers) straighten out the BS and make it fun again.

Somewhat of a spoiler!

I think it hasn't been bad as of late... it's just becoming more spread out. I do think it was interesting that there is another island, but something like that had to come about. The original island is only so big, and they will run out of room for story ideas soon.

I guess that's the up side to writting any little thing that comes into their heads.... is that anything CAN happen. There are still a lot of questions to be answered, although I agree that I could care less about why there is a VW bus on the island. Last night was pretty much a filler episode before they get back to the good stuff.

I do agree that losing Echo what a bad move. He was a great, strong character. Maybe he asked for too much money so they wrote him off. I do have to say that even if the show takes a nose dive in writting, it might still be worth watching for Kate. Mmmmm.... Kate.

But I agree with Cash's analogy. They all have had plenty of time after that, what was it? Six weeks off? I mean come on... Get to some good material.

Not to mention they found I think it was three hatches now... If I remember the picture right there were like eight of them, with one in the middle. You have nothing to do all day, why in the hell wouldn't you go looking for the others? Run out of chunky PB? Well... The other hatches just might have some, with people in it. They might have to be pushing a damn button too you know. Pushing the damn button is a good thing.

I live for Lost but I agree with what you all have said, as of lately its been weak. I hate when they lead you into next week's episode and say "Next week, three of your BIGGEST questions are answered!" and then all I end up learning is that Hurley couldn't start the car as a kid, The crazy french lady's daughter is one of the others, and the Chinese guy is pickingh up English.. I dunno about you but if I made a list of questions it probably wouldn't be:

1. When will the Chinese guy learn English?
2. When will they find a car?
3. Are the French lady and that girl with the same name as her daughter related?

Sorry for the rant.

I don't know why but that just literally made me laugh out loud. Probably the whole "It's funny cause it's true." thing.

Or maybe it was just "Mrs Tanaka getting hit by a meteor." It's just a funny phrase.

I too agree that the story has been weaker as of late. however i think that the firt season covered 40 days whike the last 1 and half season have only covered about 30 if that. So when every character is new and you know nothing about them all those "life before the island" storylines ment alot more as a whole. I think the lost writers have done a great job of bringing those episodes up and making them relevant. I think (more like pray) that there is some seemingly insignificant fact that came out of the last episode that will be key to a major plot line aspect.

and killing Mr. Echo did suck just like killing off Ana Lucia and Libby after revealing she was in the hospital too with Hurley. (plus what kind of example is it for the rest of us Big guys if a Millionaire kind hearted teddy bear guy can't get laid?)

I also happen to think they have done a good job of introducing new characters.

Given that the reports that were sent from the hive i beleive it was called hatch station ended uop in a big pile in the middle of the jungle was there something there before or just an experiment to see if someone would keep writing about stuff they saw on the monitors. and i know im cheating a bit but what the heck are all those monitors montoring?

number 3
What the heck were the kidnapped people from the camp watching for?

number 2
What the Heck is the darn smoke monster

and my number one Question
Where if not When did the others come from given they have contact with the ouside world but dont seem to want to be there?

I have ton more but i think these are pretty pressing IMO. your thoughts?

I Love a bit of Lost. When do they show it for you guys? Its on a Sunday here, so watched last nights.

SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED!!!!!

The thing with Sayeed was quality I thought. Tho John is such an *** munch. Why they hell play the chess game? It was like slice my neck please while I play a stupid game.

Hurley being good at Table Tennis was funny, cos its one of those sports fat guys can do..There is a guy in my year who is class, and one hell of a fat ***..

I also think Sayeed should open up a can of torture on this Dharma guy..Get the real info.

So many things to say, but they just came to my head.

I dunno I liked Locke for a long time he was my favorite character on the show.. But now the writers are making him into a moron. He was like the 'sage' guy and now they have made him into a moron.

But the problem is that the writers have to make stupid stuff happen to make sure they don't have any way to get off the Island.

How about Sawyer giving away the boat? WTF.. (previous episode)

And Sayid is like "Lets gather up some useful stuff. Well.. uh how about the C4?? The friggen basement is wired with c4 and they just leave it? And hmm maybe you should tell someone about that while you are at it too..

"HEY JOHN THE WHOLE BUILDING IS RIGGED WITH C4!!"

Communication is a good thing. But yeah the writers are making Locke a moron and that sucks.

Oh.. and the show is on here on wednesday nights.. so we see it a few days before you.... so you might not want to view new threads in here until after sundays

Yeah, I used to like him. And I thought Echo was the best on the show and they friggin killed him!! I just wanted to punch John in the face when he refused to push the button and he was like "I was wrong" shut your face John. And that was the other thing, when he didnt push the button, that Desmond knew it would do that cos the time he got back when he hadnt pushed it and everything went crazy...He knew it was gonna mess up.

Yeah, the writers are changing their minds on stuff. You remember that girl, Libby I think, that Hurley liked? In one episode she was in the same mental asylum as him, so you are thinking, hmmm, this could be an interesting storyline, she doesnt look insane. Then Michael goes crazy, and she's dead. Obviously realised it wasnt working...

I think a lot of it has to do with the Actors getting other gigs too and they had only signed on for so long with the show and then wouldn't resign so the writers decide to kill them off at that point.

OK, I don't know if anyone watched the April 11th episode, but it was a good twist. There was obviously a notion of what the outcome could be, but I think they did a good job of leading you otherwise.

If you've given up on the show, next week looks like a good time to give it another chance. Looks like the proverbial **** is about to hit the proverbial fan.

Either the show is going to get a whole lot better, or a whole lot worse. Because if they find out what she's doing, and Syid doesn't do his thing on her... I'll be pretty damn close to calling it quites unless they come up with something huge to make me forget previous problems.

I think it might depend on what she will get in return. Like Jack said, she is just as desperate to get off the island as they are, but that desparation might be what Ben is using to control her now.

Well I thought the last two episodes have been the best for a while..

Tho Im really starting to hate Locke, he wants the benefits of having his "dad" dead, but is too ***** to do it himself...That just pissed me off.

Wtf is going on with the plane supposedly being found??! I dont think it is hell like Locke's dad was saying...Tho I know that has been a theory for ages...

But at the same time, I dont know who set up the plane wreckage if it wasnt...

Yeah, good couple of weeks..

They are all dead man... They are in a limbo in the after life. Unless of course you are Locke's dad... He seemed to think he was in hell. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

According to Yahoo.com TV beta, ABC has set an end date for "Lost."

The Emmy-winning adventure series will run for 48 more episodes over three seasons. Each season will consist of 16 episodes, which will air uninterrupted.

Just thought you guys might be interested to know. Maybe now that there is a set date for it to end, they will start getting to the point.

For the record, I agree with Tigam's "they are all dead" theory.
