Season three is on it's way. I have watch faithully from episode 1 of this series and from the first intro I wondered to myself "how many seasons can this show actually be on?". season one they plan the escape and run. season 2 they are on the run. We'll season three they are back in prison planning an escape again? ok I will be the first to say I was totally pissed of fabout how the second season ended and thought it was kinda corny. However, I think I was totally wrong. The Writers have given us something to nibble on as the season begins. You still have to wonder how long they can go on but so far IMO this season looks as intriguful (thats my word not found in your local dictionary) as the first 2.
Well my opinion of Season 3 is...There shouldnt be one. I think they have dragged it out, and the storyline is beginning to piss me off a little. Im still watching, but they should have finished Series 2 better, and left it at that..
Not that its not still pretty decent, its just dragged out.

I actually thought there was not nearly as much drop off from Season 1 to 2 as you may have expected. There were still a lot of twists, bits where you go "Schofield, you are a king"..
But in this Series its kind of like "Im tired of rooting for him to break out of a prison, we've seen this..." Im still enjoying it, I just really think its nowhere near 1 and 2, myself.

I think it's one of those shows that were so surprisingly popular to the television studio that they kept it longer than it's 'shelf life' should have been.
Another example I think of this is Lost. From what I understand, it was only meant to be about three seasons, but as dragged on further. It went from being very interesting, when you were learning about all these people and their pasts and watching them co-exist to survive but then it moved on to some more fiction-like elements which have taken away from it I'd say.
I only had a chance to watch 2-3 episodes of Prison Break before I found myself watching the show Chuck instead, which I've found to be quite good instead.
Well I think unquestionably Prison Break was never intended to be a long drawn out thing, but like you say, popularity dictated it should be.
I know that was, as you say, the case with Lost. I saw an interview on Jonathan Ross with the guy who plays Charlie, who said specifically it was drawn out from 3, to 7-9 seasons purely due to its popularity...And also because the writers only had an end in mind and not necessarily how to get it there..

oh my...season one of heroes was excellent....PB had a big ending on the 2 hour double episode but did not give us any other major twists. I happen to be excited about this season so far because I thought it would be total crap like what the heck are they doing. but I like the plot because it is not the same. The first season were much better and if the finale sucks i'll just start watching Chuck which looks pretty interesting tonight.
It was a two hour finale? So season 3 is finished? (Please dont reveal anything about what actually happened in your next post if so)

I think one show if I remeber correctly.... I wont say anymore.... We are done here until January and last nights episode wasnt that bad.... I was expecting more from the commercials they showed so yah I was still a little disappointed...
You are done until January? Another break? ****, that means we take one too. Its so stupid, someone should tell them people are pissed off with it dragging on anyway..Thats just adding to it.
I actually thought that one was quite a good episode..

Nah he an episode behind .... his fighting scene was part of our two hour special .... They probably aired that special in one hour segments making him delayed a week .....
He has to still see the Fall Finale ...

Wait wait. Now you are saying I am really behind? They say here you see that they show it a week later than in the US, but based on what you are saying maybe not. Cos the channel was complaining that when the US go to a break, they have to as well.
And that cant have been more than 3 weeks ago.
