UPDATE on f/a 2006
Just want to throw this out there..
Tommorrow will be the last day of 'open F/A' *Sometime tommorrow night before I go to bed..* (whenever that happens to be) I will put into the code to lock down all bids older than 48 hours. And start to process them.
Just figured This would be the warning.

Is there any time frame for pre season yet? Are you guys still tackling the playbooks? Just curious and was wondering how far we might be from getting pre season moving along.

Well without giving any exact timeframe I'm just going to say we are pretty close to seeing some pre-season games..
We still have a lot of work to do on playbooks.. I'm guessing this will be a busy weekend for me.. but I would like to have all the playbooks done and the stat script done by next monday.. then next week will just be finishing up on a few scripts that need to be fixed (like sliders and subs) which is just a matter of making sure they work right with the board.. nothing major..
But we are very close.

Awesome news indeed. Especially how close we could potentially be to starting the pre!
Btw, has a decision been made on whether they will be simmed or played out? Because I can imagine its more important than ever now with higher injury rates.

Great news!!!!
And i think 3 or 4 months ago we had a poll about the games played out or simmed. The decision was a mayority wanted to play it out... This will give young teams with more rookies better progression than simming and helps to see goods and bads of your team before the season starts to work on them. Player get injured, but I say 'No risk No fun'.

I vaguely remember that poll actually, though Im sure a lot of the owners we currently have didnt vote in that, because they werent here (at the boards) or an owner yet. So consensus may have changed

Doesn't really matter to me too much either way as far as preseason goes.
I would just move all my starters off the depth charts if possible and those I had to put on the depth chart would be as far down as they could be.

Whoever get him, WR Robinson has great injury attributes and it would need a bomb to hurt him I think... 
But that is right too, lots of new owners recently. Cash will take care about the situation surely.
