Agreed Trades thread.

Once a trade goes in here AND IS AGREED ON!!! it has 24 hours to clear.. during that time people can try to outbid the trade... you can do that through IM or by posting here..

RULE CHANGE: NOTICE: To save time.. I will go from the original post for the 24 hour timeline.. that gives everyone a day to see theinitial trade and outbid it.. I will not go from the time the trade was agreed upon.. although I will probably wait a few hours after the agreement.. it will not be a full 24...

After 24 hours any trade that has been in this thread can be processed by me whenever I get to it.. If I see a person attempting to outbid I may give it more time but I am not required to do so.

These trades are not final.. the a lot can happen in the 24 hour period, either party of the trade can cancel it. This is frowned upon if you do not have reason (you just changed your mind) But many times people start getting better offer talks for thier player or pick and decide to cancel the trade for that talk. If you become a habitual trade canceller for no reason (other than that you changed your mind) I will probably kick you out.



IMPORTANT- I am very strict on this.. the trade must follow this format. Do not deviate from this format at all...

49ers Give:
DE Carter (92)
DE Whiting (81)
49ers 2nd round (2005)
49ers 5th round (2005)
49ers 6th round (2005)
49ers 7th round (2005)

Jaguars give:
Cards 1st round (2005)
Seahawks 1st round (2005)
Jaguars 2nd round (2006)




MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WHAT YOU ARE TRADING!!!

Dont freaking post an outbid unless you are 100% sure you are willing to go through with it. That means dont post an outbid that is dependant on another trade or the astronomical alignment of the planets.

It is not fair to either team that had a trade going to post an outbid and then not go through with it because you didnt have a deal go through. At least contact the person fist and let them know that your outbid is dependant on something else happening instead of just posting an outbid here.

You are not wrong... However cancellation or backing out is frowned upon.

Now if Delhomme had been moved to someone else because you accepted outbid, then I would understand all your anger and would of even liked to compensate you for it, but that's not the situation right now.
True... But now a owner tried to outbid your outbid. An awkward situation, as since this wasn't going to go through now one owner said he would give 'less' for a player/pick than an already agreed to deal. Now Choas is honor bound to take the original deal, rather than the 'outbid' to a bid that doesn't exist.

See, it should have not made it to this thread if it wasn't agreed upon by all owners. I don't know who's right or who's wrong in all of this. The situation wasn't a good one however, that's easy enough to see.

You can also lose your team for canceling for bad reasons.. If you didn't know for certain that you were willing to trade a player than you should not have used him in an outbid.. you should have talked to Chaos and told him that you would trade him Feely "pending" you getting Brady, thus allowing him to decide if he wanted to wait.

Outbidding in this thread to stop a trade because it would benefit you if you got the player you wanted is wrong and people will lose teams for doing it.. ask ramsfan


In other words if you put a trade in this thread you shouldn't back out of it unless you are getting a better offer.... not because you aren't getting a player that you thought you were... that would start a whole chain of people backing out of trades... and frankly.. it piss es me off...
