Titans: Well that is easily the most fun I have had watching us play over my short time period with the club. I think bar a few crazy play calls, we would have won that game far more comfortably than we did. Which is really saying something considering that was ATLs starters in there.
I wont change my tune in victory, this is still only the preseason. That being said, I thought the performance today was fantastic, and the slight change up in the line seemed to really help, against one of the toughest DLs in the league.
The aim of the this game was fundamentals, get them right. Im pleased to say we did, broken tackles were limited, guys were wrapping up. I called out the LBs last time I spoke to the press, and they really answered, McCoy is looking like the leader out there, and I was impressed with the way Stephen Tulloch stepped up in the absence Abdul Hodge (who should be ready for the opening game of the regular season).
The secondary didnt put out a great showing, but that really wasnt the emphasis, there are a lot of guys to come into that secondary yet, and so poor play from them is not of huge concern to us right now.
I think the big positive to take from this game offensively is the run game. I loved the way Jerious was running, we are really seeing great things from him. And Blaylock has far exceeded our expectations having picked him up primarily as a special teamer, it looks like he could make some plays for us offensively. We really targetted the run, and Im glad with how that paid off. I think some of the calls were madness though, running on 3rd and 8s and 9s consistently. That should change in the near future.
The negatives of this game have to be the play of the secondary, and crazy play calls (passing in short yardage, running in long for example). Both of which I feel confident we can overcome for if not next game, the regular seasoner opener.
Thanks for your time, and Ill happily answer any questions you may have.

Our starter is Travis, but the better Jerious plays the more carries he is going to be getting. We really are loving the way he is running, but its Travis' job, and both players no that. They will both be active in the regular season though, that you can be sure of.
We are not a "chuck it up team"...So nothing.
As for the big plays, thats down to the secondary, which has no starters in. There are both of our safeties to come in, Tank Williams and Chris Hope. Then as far as the CBs go, we have Pro Bowler Sheldon Brown to come in, the speed and skill of Pac, and our nickel Andre Dyson, who could start for a lot of teams in the league. That will be our attack on the big plays. It adds speed and skill to that secondary.
Any more questions?
