Steelers -- continue winning preseason games
Well I would like you to know I am very entertained with the media's view on our team, maybe if people continue to doubt us we will keep on winning? Anyway, on to the game it seems as if our team continues to improve defensively our pass defense flat out was stifling in our game against the eagles tonight; Jeff Garcia was sacked 3 times by the first team defense. Not a deeper pass than 14 yards was completed against us, that makes me very happy seeing as we aren't missing too many tackles allowing for big plays in the passing game. Grady Jackson looks like he is improving as well as he was in on one of the sacks.
Offensively, we are still continuing to keep the ball on the ground and grind out the clock out and continue to keep the ball and score. In turn, not allowing the other team's defense to get off the field that often and keep them tired, and wear them out as the passing game came through during the first half.
The problems for me in this game, were that Charlie Batch has proven he is nothing more than a third string quarterback this game and has continued to humiliate himself. Also we cannot let down our guard for one play...see Tapeh's highlight 72 yard run.
Overall, our team performed very well and has a lot of room for improvement which is also a very good thing. Now I will open to the media for questions.
