I know the competition is nowhere near over, but I thought for those of us who are watching it (probably just me, GPG and Billster) I thought we could discuss some of the best goals so far, and any that happen from now here.
So if we miss a great goal we can go and see it, and so we get to know what kind of soccer we all like.
For me, the best goal so far has been Sneijders. Choose either. The first was just an amazing team goal, and an amazing finish. Awesome. The second was just a piece of individual brilliance.
I think perhaps you could make a case for David Villa's third in the first game, that was a nicely taken goal.
Or even Robben's.
What do we all think?

I agree with you saying Sneijder's. I can only remeber the second one, but that was just pure excellence. Its been a good tournament (I'm really upset I'm going to be missing Germany vs. Portugal, cause I'll be on a bus headed to Germany!), but I really can't rember a whole lot of the goals. Sneijders really stuck out in my mind though. I think that the Netherlands have a really good chance of winning it this year.
...So long as they take the lead. Their defence is poor and has yet to be exploited, but could be. Though I absolutely love the way they play and find myself rooting for them. Sneijder has been just phenomenal. Van Der Vaart has looked good himself actually...
You dont remember Sneijder's first? The 2nd one of the game Vs Italy. The brilliant breakaway involving GVB? Was a great goal.
Billster might come in here making a case for Ballack's last night Was a nice free kick though.

Its not as much I don't remember, its I don't think I even saw it, I've been busy with a ton of other stuff lately.
Have you done as the BBC has been telling people to do and pick a team to support? I havn't really picked one to support really, it dosn't feel right, but I want Germany to win it. My exchange partner has been bugging me too, but like I said I'll miss their Quarter Final because I'll be heading over ther (23 hour journey!!!!!).
Big night tonight, I really want Romania to go through over France and Italy, I would like to see underdogs do well, maybe even do what Greece did last time (although they were very poor this year)
I do not want to see a Greece like victory. I want to see an exciting team win it, Holland for example.
You CANNOT support the Germans as an Englishman dude! Its virtually the law. Though lately, they havent looked much like winning it. Portugal should knock them out..While you can never knock Germany cos they are always there or there abouts in competitions, they havent looked good this year - for the favourites, not at all good.
You have to see the Sneijder goal if you didnt, really really good quality.
