**New Orleans Saint's GM Tim Repine is seen talking with the head coach Sean Payton before he makes his way to the front of the room. After a few moments he asks for everyone to be seated and begins..**
Tim Repine: Well, its safe to say that one man won't be returning kicks for us this season. Its nothing personal but when you can't hang on to the ball you won't be returning kicks. Antonio Brown will more than likely still make the team but when the games count, he won't be returning kicks.
On offense I was really pleased with the play of the old man, Jeff George. He did an excellent job of leading the offense but we couldn't finish drives off. Something we hope will be different once our starting skill position players are in.
Drew Henson played up and down but finished the game with a long touchdown drive that got us within 2 but the failed 2 point conversion ended our hopes of a win. He probably won't make the team , which he already knows, but maybe someone will see his play and give him a shot some place else.
Justin Fargas had a nice game running the ball. We are excited about what he can bring to the team. He will be our kick returner come opening day and probably our 3rd back. Rock Cartwright is fighting for a job. We are not sure where we will use him right now. He didn't really impress us much so we might try putting him at FB.
We were really pleased with the play of Kelly Campbell, Justin Gage, and Michael Lewis out of the passing game. If they can continue to play that well once the season starts who knows what our offense will be capable of.
Our offensive line play was much better than expected. Stinchcomb got beat two times on a inside pass rush and thats something we will look into. Overall though, we can't complain with it.
The play of our defense was outstanding but at this point we don't put much into it as the Titans, much like ourselves, rested many of thier starters on offense. Tommy Polley was able to register 3 sacks and the team had 7 total including a brutal hit on Kerry Collins that knocked him out for the game.
We went with the 3-4 this game but don't expect that next game as we will work on some other defensive formations to try to find what we feel is best for our team.
Well on offense I haven't seen much since we are sitting our big guns for the preseason. Honestly my only concern is staying healthy and our offensive line being able to block.
On defense I wasn't real happy with our run defense and that worries me some. We had an excellent pass rush yet I don't know if we can keep up with that kind of pressure every game. That remains to be seen.
When you say he won't make the team, do you mean, he won't be starting, or he won't be on the team, period? If you mean that he won't be on the team period, what are your plans for him, a trade or releasing him?

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
Barber was our 3rd down back in the first game. Other than him staying in that role for now , no we don't plan on playing them at all.

Unless we have QB injury during the preseason, he will be released more than likely.
