To start out our starting LOLB Angelo Crowel is going to miss 3 weeks due to a sprained wrist, and Bulger will be back to start the regular season. Thats all on the injury front.
The Dolphins played one hell of a game. It literally came right down to the wire. This was a very good game for our team confidence. They proved that in situations where we need to drive down and get a field goal that they are capable of it. It really shows the heart of the team, was a very emotional win to say the least.
I would have liked to see more production out of our passing game, we had 187 yards passing, we need more passing through the air. On the other hand we did well on the ground piling up 137 yards. Not a lot to complain about on the offensive end.
However, on the defensive end we gave up 366 yards. I don't want our defense to give up that much, and can't if we want to have a successful season. I would like to see us give up less rushing yards a game. Also would like to see us get more pressure on the QB. We only had 2 sacks this game, I'd like to see us blitz a bit more. Did have 2 interceptions though which is good.

You say you are dissapointed with your passing yardage, yet you only attempted 21 passes and completed 14 of those, that means that your team had over 10 yards per completion.... Might it be that your play calling had a little to do with the low passing yardage?

Q: What are you looking out of your team this season? ie what are some reallistic goals you are setting for them?
A: Of course everyones goal is to make the Super Bow, but for me thats just optimism. The goals I've set for my team are 10 wins, and a playoff spot. I'm still not sold on my team yet.

A: I wanted to play the run n' gun offense this week. Figuring I'd get some deep passes, that didn't happen so I'll have to change that or something. But yea, playcalling had something to do with it.
