All Owners Read - Current Trade Block Info
After talking to Cash, I wanted to post this so that everyone knows where we are at with trading at this time...
Trades are not officially agreed upon until they have been agreed upon in the "Agreed Trades Thread". This thread has not been posted yet, but will be when Cash is ready to start making trades official.
Cash will also be creating trade blocks for the CPU controlled teams. I know that everyone (myself included) is excited to jump on the horse and get to managing your team, but it might be in your best interest to remember that we are still in the early stages at this time.
Good luck to everyone.

Yeah, My feelings are that discussing trades in detail right now is a little premature. It will still be some time before trades can be agreed upon and finalized.

Yup, I was wondering why everyone was trying to trade off their players so soon.
I just posted block just to see how much people would be willing to play but have no interest in trading at this time. I like the idea and how your going to work that though.

It's pretty common in a sim league/ mock off season for every one to go crazy with trades.

I gotta say that I'm surprised at the amount of trade action we are seeing I really didn't see this much trading happening with the no resign rule.

I think there will be a lot of trading to start, with people getting their teams in order, but down the road it will be much slower.
It's just the excitement of the new league

One year contracts don't worry me. That just means more money you get to spend the next year in FA.
The one thing I won't do with the one year contract guys is give up high draft picks for.
I am a bit surprised at some of the asking prices people put up, but other than that nothing else seems that far off to me.
I plan to be a active trader just to make the league more fun to me.

Yeah, I agree Ripper, I think its while people get teams on the track they want that we are seeing a still pretty high level of trade action.

I'm making trades for the future, I don't see myself trading much next season.

Well right now its all talk. I think there will be a lot less actual agreed trades than all the talk that is going on. More trades are backed out on than agreed to.
