Chicago Bears Trade Block
Here it is fellas....
I'll be adding to this as the season moves along.
LE Adewale Ogunleye
91 OVR & 29 years old
I have a few solid DEs on my roster so one of them can go. I'd prefer to deal Ogunleye and keep Brown & Anderson as my bookends. Adewale has great wheels (84 SPD & 90 ACC) so he would be ideal for teams that are planning on using a 4-3 defense.
ROLB Lance Briggs
93 OVR & 25 years old
I'm not in a hurry to move Briggs but I will consider trading him if the compensation is fair. I can always let him play this season and slap a franchise tag on him so he is still under contact next year. He is an elite LB so you will have to be willing to part with someone really good.
DT Ian Scott
85 OVR & 24 years old
I'm set at DT so Scott can be dealt for help at another position. He is young and will develop fast with playing time so get in touch if you could use this 312 lb beast.
CB Charles Tillman
88 OVR & 25 years old
Tillman will likely be dealy because he is in the final year of his contract. He would make a great starting CB for any team in this league. Tillman is 6'1" and has 94 JMP so he can match up will with the bigger receivers.
That's a good starting block which should yield quality compensation. I have a lot of my starters locked up with long term deals and I don't have a lot of holes to fill.
My main needs right now are all on the offensive side of the ball; WR, TE, & OT. I have some really solid players on my block, so I should be able to get quality starters in return.

So, I just got home and I was looking over some of my guys contracts. I just realized that dealing Adewale Ogunleye would result in a $10M cap penalty so he is no longer on my block.

Whats the price on Tillman? Because Im interested, but would be lying if I said the fact he has only 1 year left doesnt lower what my offer logistically can be.

I believe that you would be able to resign him to a new contract if you acquired him via trade. |

Yeah, we can no longer trade final year players with a view to the other team resigning them. So in other words, if people are to trade to get someone in their final year the only perks are the year they have them, then the 20% discount. As this isnt a lot, I wouldnt be able to offer a lot on Tillman unfortunately.
So Im inquiring as to what you might be looking for so I know if I can make an offer that is satisfactory to the both of us.

Hi Guys,
The main players I'm looking to move are DT Scott and CB Tillman.
I realize that both are in the final years of their contracts, but that doesn't mean I plan on dealing them really cheap. With the 20% phantom bonus, you would have a great chance to lock them into a long term contract during the offseason so I will expect decent compensation for both players. I wouldn't mind getting a player of need with a similar contract in return so hit me up with offers.
Scott is 85 OVR and only 24 years old.
Tillman is 88 OVR and only 25 years old.
I really want an elite receiving TE and I could use some O-line help. If I send you one of these young guys I'll expect a good young player or really good vet in return.

I've seen a few offers for both Scott and Tillman.
I've accepted an offer for Tillman and I'm choosing between a couple of offers for Scott. Get your offers in soon because I plan on making deals ASAP.
