Giants Trade Block
Welcome to the Giants Trade Block for season 3.
First things first, get in touch with me if you want mid round draft picks. I currently have 3 third round picks and 6 more after that. I do not have alot of spots on my roster, so I want to trade these picks away for decent players or package some of them together to move up in the draft (maybe, trade 2 thirds and a fourth for another good second round pick.) I could also package a player with a pick (or two) in exchange for a higher draft pick (maybe Osi Umenyiora and two thirds for a first rounder). Get in touch with me if you dont think you will have the cap room to use your first round pick or you want to trade down for more picks.
Most of the players on my block are there because they are in the last year of their contract. Some of them could end up finishing out their contracts for my team unless I get a decent offer for them. Here are the players I would like could be traded before the trade deadline:
WR Amani Toomer 91 (31)
Age: 30
Ovr: 91
Awr: 90
Spd: 91
Agi: 91
Acc: 92
Cth: 90
Jmp: 89
Rbk: 41
Toomer has been one of the Giants’ offensive leaders the past two seasons. He has had back-to-back 1000 yard seasons, accumulating 1046 yards this season and 1202 in last year’s campaign. A proven veteran like Toomer may be exactly what a lot of teams need to reach the playoffs or next level.
FB Deltron Smith 80 (31)
Good fullback, but will not see much playing time for me.
RE Osi Umenyiora 84 (24)
Osi is a great young prospect. He has progressed well for me but I will likely deal him if I can get good compensation in return. His low salary will make him attractive to most GMs. He recorded 7 sacks last year and is only 24 years old. I may keep him, but would concider trading him for another talanted young prospect or draft pick.
LOLB Reggie Torbor 74 (24)
Torbor is a good young linebacker who would be an excellent addition to most teams. He is only 24, so he will progress if he can find a team that will play him. I will keep him in NY unless I get a decent offer for him.
The only positions I really need help with are Center & RT (or a versitile O-lineman). I would trade my Center or LG along with some draft picks for an upgrade at each position. I could also use an upgrade at FS or RE if I deal Osi and the player is good enough....and while I am at it, I could also upgrade my punter. I would be willing to send my punter and a decent draft pick for a great punter.
Others players I would concider trading are HB Tiki Barber (90), CB Terry Cousin (81) & SS Gibril Wilson (74). Get in touch if you could use them.

That trade worked out well for both of us. Stubblefield did a decent job returning kicks & punts. He was an upgrade over my previous guy who would drop or fumble half of the returns. Plus, he would not have caught many passes behind Toomer, Murphy, Hilliard & Shockey...and Carter, so I am glad he got some playing time with your Steelers. Maybe he will get a TD next season.

I could send you my Center (82) and draft picks for a 90+ Center.

Hey Guys,
I am still going with the same gameplan for the upcoming season, so I decided to keep my old trade block thread.
I would REALLY like to upgrade my O-line and obtain a decent FS. I have alot of draft picks for the upcoming draft and could use them towards a good (90ish) Center or Guard. I would also be interested in getting a solid, young punter.
Get in touch with me if you can come up with a deal that helps us both out. I will listen to all deals involving 90+ O-linemen.

Anyone want to trade down and get more draft picks? I have alot of picks in this year's draft that I would be willing to package towards getting higher selections. I would like to land another 1st or 2nd rounder.
I currently have 3 3rd rounders and 3 5th rounders (plus my 1st & 2nd round picks). We all know that last year's draft class was really deep, so get in touch with me if you want to get more picks.
I would also concider trading picks for a better punter.
