I think a lot of it has to do with the pressure of playing from behind. Its difficult to play from behind for anyone. We have only been ahead in one game for about 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter against the Vikings.
He could be pressing too hard to make plays. Some guys cant perform under that much pressure. Actually there are very few who can. The truely great ones could do it but they dont grow on trees. But we are not exactly giving him a chance to perform when we are in a 20 point deficet.
I think it might be good to sit him if this continues and see how Anderson performs in these situations. Who knows, maybe he has what it takes.
But I also know there are some players on this team right now that dont want to be here and arent playing up to their abilities. I plan to address that as quickly as possible so that the guys that want to play can do so without looking over their shoulder to see if someone picked up their block.
