Embarassing to say the least. That was by far our worst game. If our offense could prodvided support to the defense stepping up the score would have not looked so bad no matter. Look for some changes this week at every position.
We are going to start some trade talks in hopes to land a defensive anchor to help our ailing secondary.
Do you think that the lack of rushing attempts/ yards is killing this young offense? Your Defense isnt playing very well either, so what do you feel you have to do to ge tthem to stop the opponents.
The first game of the year you put up some huge number. What do you plan on doing to get your offense clicking like that again?
Rushing attempts have been small, because our defense is poor and because defense is poor we lose. WE are hoping to get a defensive stud to help out the defense and then the offense will start clicking.
The first game our defense made plays and we stayed in it. WE'll have to recreate that in order to put up that many points again.
Do you think that since you selected Moore in the draft that you possibly should have targeted some of the better defensive guys in Free Agency instead of spending alot of money on Henry?
You have two good rbs, but you really would have benefitted by taking either D in the draft or FA. Do you regret this decision, because it did eat up alot of you cap room?
No i think both RBs add something to the team I do not regret adding either to the team. I do wish the cap situation would have been better and we could have spent more money on defense, but it just wasn't in the "Cards."

but yes i have a question... you are playing dallas in week 4, both teams are winless, will your defense hold out better than dallas'? both teams are weak in their D so what are your plans?

My plans will be the same. Thompson will stay at Qb and Dontrelle Moore and Travis Henry will split the carries. Dallas's run D is as bad as our pass D. The only difference is our strengths can run out the clock. I feel confident about our game against the Cowboys.

Many people have been making jokes pertaining to your "Cardinal Cleansing" . Do you feel that your team is on track to become what you envision or should we expect a different approach in the upcoming weeks?
Well i dont regret any releases that took place. The second phase of the cleansing was the rebuilding. I did beleive that Moore would make an impact like Bush did, but its only 3 games were not going write him off yet. Other than that, other free agency and draft will leave this team stronger, but I like the direction we are headed.
