Coach: Well we now have 2 games under our belt and also happen to have to 2 games added to the loss column, but we will not let that break us. This team is a strong group of guys and I'm already seeing improvement. I'd like to have someone tell me they predicted us to take the Chargers to OT. I'd like to have someone tell me they predicted us to actually put up points against a formidable opponent like the Rams. Though statistically we aren't showing it, this team is already better than it was last year. I attribute that to leadership from Travis Henry and Eugene Wilson and to our GM's strides to make the team better with "Cardinal Cleansing." Now I'm sure you all have already jumped on the bandwagon and have decided "Cardinal Cleansing" is stupid or dumb or whatever other adjective they teach at your Telecommunications and Newswriting classes, but Rome was not built in a day, and neither will the Cardinals be made into a Super Bowl caliber team. It's gonna hard-work. I guarantee this team will look 100 times better than it did opening by the last week of the season.

With that, I open it up to questions for either me or the GM.

Q1: In week 1 we saw Henry at RB in week 2 we saw Moore at RB and Henry at FB. Have you made a decision who will be starting at HB in week 3 vs the 49ers?

Q2: Do you agree that Thompson will have to have a good game vs the 49ers to give your team a chance.

Q3: Is there any chance that we will see Kyle Orton given a chance to take over the reigns?

Any truth to the rumors that you might sign Kerry Collins to take over the offense?

How do you plan on patching up that pass defense, which as been absolutely horrible through the first 2 games?

We experimented to see how Dontrelle Moore would handle getting the majority of the carries in week 2 and as of right we are torn, it will be a game time decision.

As for Thompson, I'm not going to give up on him just after 2 weeks. His debut was actually pretty good all things considered, he is afterall only a rookie.

That rumor is news to me, if anyone is going to take over the offense, its going to Kyle Orton, but that is not in the near future of plans.

Yes, the pass defense has been pretty horrid, but we also have faced two teams that have very good QB's with weapons at WR. A trade might be in the future, if the DB's dont step it up, but right now we have the best squad in possible.

Let's not forget that in week 1 the defense kept us in the game.

I understand your philosophy behind "Cardinal Cleansing", but do you have any regrets to giving up Josh McCown, given your current QB situation?

No, it was never a fact of how good McCown was that caused him to be traded. It was the fact that he and the administration didn't get along. We feel Paul Thompson better suits our system. We have good friends in the Packers orginizations and only have the best wishes for that team.

Seeing that 'Cardinal Cleansing' is a message for cleaning house to build for the future, if there is a trade that could improve your team this year, that involved your round 1 or 2 pick, would you make it?

Most definitely. Defense especially would be considered in a trade.

Its not something that should enstill fear in them, it was just a way to clear out the players from the past owner that's all. I'd say 95% have job security this year.
