Well welcome to life in the nfl. The highs are some of the greatest feelsings you can experience in your life. The lows on the other hand can bring down team moral. The keys are staying some place in the middle. In todays game we had a clear inability to run the ball. As a team and coaching staff we will have to learn to be more consistent on the offense side of the ball. Our passing today was nothing on the level of what a team that wants to win can expect to do.
On the defensive side i thought the stats didnt dicate the reality, the defense as a whole played ok. The team showed alot of character in several goaline stops. I feel that as the game progressed our line fatigued and thats something that our coaching staff will have to work on.
As a coaching staff we realize that we have alot of character guys on this team. No one in this locker will stand for the performance that we put out there. I feel as a coaching staff and a team we have to do alot better job then what we showed today.
What happened to your team this week? Do you feel the coaching staff didnt prepare your players and have them focused on the important things....like your opponent?
Did you overlook the Packers since they got beat by the Lions?
ill answer two questions in one. I still feel my team gets no respect and im sure with how the media views todays lost ill stand correct. I do believe that today we were out coached. I dont believe we work hard enough to come up with a game plan that doesnt allow teams to focus only on reggie. I the we have alot of character on this team and that we will come back and show that we are bigger then todays lost.
You mentioned that the defense was keying on Bush, but with that your passing game didn't really take off. 48 total passing yards is a major drop from last weeks game. What did you do differently for this weeks game, and what will you do to improve this?
A week after putting up 38 points, the only points you scored was off a fumble returned for a touchdown. Going by your pervious answers, are you saying that Bush is your only offense?
by no means are WE as a TEAM a one man show. I feel that the game plan that was in play allowed the defense to key on bush. In general i think that the running game not picking up put us in alot of 3rd and long situations that made it hard to get the passing game going. We hope in the future that we are able to make the playing calling more dynamic and not stale like in todays game. So in general i feel that we could have played to other strengths that are team has. We will take todays game as a lesson.

in general we had alot of sets with 8 man in the box. As a coaching staff we didnt play to that in a manner that allowed us to find success.
