Today it seems our team has shown that they are in favor of adversity. We started off the season with a loss to a AFC West opponent, and in doing so, put ourselves a game back from the get go. The game was overall troubling. Our offence seemed unable to put up any numbers, while our defense gave up plenty, and couldn’t force a turnover to save their lives. Especially troubling was Matt Hasselback’s performance. 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles equal not a very good day for our starting Quarterback.
Part of this could be the fault of the coaches as well. It seems they threw out our initial balanced game plan going in, and decided it was toss the ball day. I understand that we need to move the ball quickly when we fall behind, but there is no excuse for having Matt throw the ball 53 times, when we have one of the best running backs in the league.
I thought we had the talent on this team that would allow me to lay off them and let them play their game. I guess I was wrong. This week at practice, they will learn the true meaning of adversity.
Your D shut down the running game very well. But on third down Trent seemed to make some very good passes...What do you think about that?
I guess I kinda let my emotions of the game get the best of me, but yes the defense did do a good job against a good back. I think if the Offence hadn’t given up the ball so many times, this game could have been different. As far as Trent making those passes, I think it came down to two things. First he is a good Quarterback, who has been around for a while and knows how to get the job done. Second, I think we didn’t get enough pressure on him. This is something we will be working on this week.
{QUOTE=titansrule]What did you think of Buchanon's first game as WR?[/quote]
Although he didn’t gain a lot of yards, I Phillip did make 7 catches. I think we just need to get him down field a bit more to use his speed.
I know someone already asked about Buchanon, but besides a fairly lackluster performance, he also fumbled the ball once. Is he a WR for good, or is there any chance that you may put him back at CB?

I don't think we can judge him on this game alone. If we were to do that, Tuiasosopo would be the starting QB next week.
I will be taking this into consideration though, and if I don't see improvement, there will be changes.
