Dolphins Week 1 PC

What can I say about our week 1 performance besides lackluster? Granted we won the game but there is no reason for the score of 24-19.

We started out the game strong. In the 1st half we only allowed 3 points by the Bills. Our offense was clicking, Brady despite some dropped passes was still looking sharp and Deuce among all others was taking it to the Bills STRONG rushing defense. The second half hower proved to be quite different.

Our defense fell short on a couple of key sacks where Jeff Garcia began to run free behind the line of scrimmage and made some great throws to being his team back. I don't know what happened but our Dline fell just short too many times and Lito and Surtain looked laxed out there. Next thing you know it's 24-19 and Buffalo has the ball back. Luckily our defense held them.

Despite the win we need to improve some areas. Brady although not entirely his fault in the attempts to completions percentage did manage to throw 2 INT's, including one in our own 20 which could of cost us the game. Our defense seemed to be tired despite not being on the field alot, bad conditioning and allowed a mediocre offense to put up points.

Only key standouts was Deuce with 113 yards and 2 TD's on a tough Buffalo Rush defense and Vilma who was all over the place with 13 tackles. Next week look to see our LB's blitz alot more to finish off sacks we should of had.

Despite playing a very good D, did you expect better from Tom Brady coming into the game...?

Given the fact that Deuce was obviously the heart of the offense this week, will we see him get even more carries next week against the Jets?

The team did expect better from Brady, but being that this was his 1st start in a new place we're hoping it was just a fluke and that he'll deliver in week 2. Lets give him some time to adjust before we start any talk.

Deuce has always been the heart of this organization since the day we made the 3 way trade to bring him here. Deuce will always carry the load on this team but hopefully now with Brady teams will respect the pass alittle more which will provide Deuce with opportunities for longer runs.

We'll see how it plays out
