Lael: I can't say that I am happy with today's performace, but in the same sense, I can't say that it was the worse ever. On injuries, Steve Smith sustained a minor injury in which he still wants to play on, but with the Wide Recievers we have, I believe Smitty is going to take the week off.
Good Points of the game... I didn't get to watch the game, but I see that Kurt Warner went 9/15 with 3 touchdowns. Some people doubt Warner, but there is a reason I still have him on my team. Issac Bruce showed he could take all the catches need to lead a to a win. Charles Woodson picked up his first INT as a Steeler, and Josh Bullocks and Mario Williams both got there first Sacks as rookies.
Bad points of the game... first we could start with Plummers 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Or how about LaMont Jordan's 193 yards with 2 touchdowns. Or my personal Chris Gamble's 2 INTs 1 for a touchdown. Apparently they couldn't stop us and we couldn't stop them... Very upsetting performance.
I'll just take questions now.

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
Lael: As much as I wish I could say yes, and put Warner in all the time, the fact is simple, Warner isn't fast enough to play every down. I think if he had to, he would, but with the way we have it now, Ben gets his experience and Warner stays a good Quarterback.
Any other questions?

traditionally Pit has been known for it "steel curtain" defense and stout running. today it was quite the opposite as warner and ben passed for over 350 yds together and the defense had trouble stopping the browns offense. does this signafy a new philisophy on offense and or defensively....or just the early season cobwebs on the "curtain"?
Do you plan on making any adjustments on D, or do you think todays game was a fluke and that you believe your team wont normally give up so many yards and points? Do you plan on doing anything differently to possibly get your running game more involved?

well, I would like to say that we have built this team to score points on Offense. During Cowher's time as Head Coach that was an understandable statement saying that Defense and running. But this isn't Cowher team, we have mixed this team so that we can score and score often. Our defense wasn't the greatest last year, but we do expect to see more than what we saw last year. Woodson already stepped up by getting his first interception of the season.

I think that when you play a team like Clevland, it's hard to say where they are going to attack at. We were ready for a passing game, but they caught us by suprise and ran at us hard. I think this was just poor gameplanning by our staff. As for our running game, Clevland has one of the best Defensive lines in the league right now, and the 75 yards Marshall put up is acceptable, and this just gives us an idea of how to gameplan against them next time.

I think it was a little of both in this game. We had planned to strike hard with our offense and go for turnovers on defense. They just out gameplanned us today. I don't expect the same results next time around.
Any other questions?
