Looks like we still have stuff to do to catch up to the other teams in the league. I thought we had a good gameplan, but I guess the team decided to not follow the gameplan anymore after halftime.
The Bad stuff:
We played a horrible second half. The defense Stunk, and the offense couldn't do much of anything. We threw an INT in the beginning of the game to Champ Bailey that he took for a TD. I think had they not gotten that TD when they did we would have run away with the game.
We turned the ball over twice and they only turned it over once. They turned both of the turnovers they got into points and we ended up punting after our defensive Interception.
Our players seem to have no focus, we had 8 penalties for 68 yards but we also lost about another 80 hidden yards in those penalties, you know the yards you gained on a play that were called back due to the penalty. We didn't get enough first downs, an I attribute that to the penalties and being in long yardage situations all the time.
Something that frustrated me all of last year was the inability to sack opposing QB's, Once again that problem seems to be with our team.
What was good?:
Well I always have a hard time finding the good after a loss, but I will say that I am impressed with the play of Mike Williams, if he can continue to play at the level he did in this game or even improve, he will do well in this league.
I think our offensive line did a great job in pass protection, Walter was not sacked once and stayed on his feet most of the game. They did run block well, but I think we could use a little more work in that area.
I think we just lost a game we should not have lost, and those are hard to swallow. We will go to work on making a much better gameplan for Detroit.
Any Questions?

Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

What do you have to do to keep your Defense from giving up so many points?
Other than Porter, you really contained their offense it seems. Do you think you need to change defenseive coverages or maybe a defensive package to get those guys to respond?
How would you rate Jamal Lewis' debut in a Niners jersey, and did his play meet your expectations of him?
I thought he did well in the first half just like the rest of the team, but in the second half he left a lot to be desired. His fumble helped Denver win the game.

Fox played safety for us some last year too, I think he played good in the first half but he had a few mental errors in coverage in the second half.

Denver had 86 total yards at halftime. So what we need to do is play the second half the way we played the first half. We also need to not have 8 poenalties on offense that take away drives and put our defense back out on the field. We will make a few changes but nothing drastic after what I feel is a fluke win.

Sure... isn't that how it always works.

You were watching the game? So you saw the TE false start on the play and turn around and look at the QB? I have no concerns with my secondary. The offense needs discipline, and the defense needs to make a few more bif plays than they did. Other than that I think we are fine.

Looking at the end of the game and how the Broncos were able to move the ball through the air against you. Do you think teams will take notice of this and attempt to put the ball in the air more against your secondary which some consider to be the weak point of your great defense?

I would expect everyone who plays us to try to throw the ball, I expected that before this game. But anyone who wants to try to run is welcome to..

You said major game planning for the Lions game, could we see more passing from Walter?

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
