WE went into the offseason with one goal: Draft Mike Williams.
We came out of the offseason reaching that goal plus making a few other moves that we were happy to be able to make. The biggest move we made that I think everyone will notice is that we added Jamal Lewis to our team.
We feel we have a defense that can really control games and our defense was our strength of our team last year. Adding a back that is argueably the best running back in the game today to our team really will help us to play within our teams strengths.
If we can raise our rushing average over four yards per carry we really feel that will help us to take more control of games this year and dictate the flow of the game instead of other teams dictating that flow to us.
The two major additions to our team were Jamal and Mike. We also feel that a lot of our young players are a lot more experienced than what they were when we started the season last year. Our Quarterback Andrew Walter seems to be a lot more comfortable and has finally adjusted to the speed of the NFL game. Players like Marcus Spears, Kerry Wright, Kevin Everrett, Anthony Bryant, Derrick Johnson, Antrel Rolle, and Dustin Fox are all starters on our team that we feel are all a lot better than they were as stating rookies last year.
Last year we were in the Super Bowl, and we lost to a great team. I am really excited to start this season. I have really high expectations for this team this year, I feel that we will be a force in our conference. I doubt anyone will be taking a game against the LA 49ers for granted this year.
Any questions?

Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

There are still a lot of changes happening teams adding players that are in free agency and doing last minute trades. So its hard to know the end makeup of any of the teams in the league except ours and a few others at this point. But I like our team and I think we have a real good shot at returning to the Big Dance.
I would be really surprised if we missed the playoffs this year, and I expect us to have a least a first round bye when its all said and done.

Who do you think is your biggest threat in the west? There are what seems to be on paper 3 pretty darn good teams out there.
With Lewis in your backfield, do you feel your quarterback should have a breakout year?
Since your team does have alot of young talent in the passing game, do you feel that more teams are going to put 8 in the box for Lewis, and do you think Andrew can make people pay by taking Lewis out of your gameplan?
To answer your first question, I would say that the Rams are the Champions of the division and until someone unseats them from that throne it is thiers.
As far as the question about Andrew, I think hewill do fine this year, we have Jamal in the backfield for a reason though. When people say breakout year they are usually talking in terms of yardage and touchdowns. We plan to run the ball alot. I hope we didn't give away our gameplan
I think if teams stack the box against us we will still be able to run. But in the event we can't, I have confidence in Andrews abilities as a QB, and I don't know about the rest of the 49 fans, but I can't wait to see his first completion to Mike Williams.
The weather?? Sunny

Who will have more of an impact for your team this year, Jamal Lewis or Mike Williams?
