12 Years? If that happens they'll be so dead in the water it's not funny. Microsoft will be releasing another system in the next two or three that will blow away anything currently out there. You just can't expect the hardware to last that long.
I mean that's double what the normal life span of a system is.

If the prices of GlueRay player dont come down soon I will own a PS3 other than that I like my Xbox wich doesnt get very much use.... It is a kool DVD player...

Older consoles were different though, especially if you're a Sony person. I don't need my psx, psOne, ps2, or ps2 slim anymore, because my PS3 has encompassed all of them.

Plus the 360 breaks down with the "circle of death" every 3 months. ;-) My vote goes to the PS3. Better graphics, better specs and capabilities.....and they rarely break in comparison to their competitors system. Bill Gates should stick to computers.
