I seriously doubt any of my guys will get consideration for any awards , but here it goes.
Offense: FG - Adam Vinatieri - 39/43 (missed from 53, 55,55,57)
Some people might get a good laugh out of that but for the season no one player was more important to my team that him. I know at one point this season we went 11 quarters without a TD and still went 3-0 in those games. In quite a few games he was our only scoring.
Defense - Donnie Edwards - 77 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 ints, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 touchdowns
I thought we might have someone with better stats but not really. Ray Lewis also did well, but Donnie came up big for us time after time. My defense was amazing all year with every guy making plays. I think thats one reason you don't see one or two certain guys with tons of stats.
Rookie - Troy Williamson 64 catches , 666 yards, 4 TD
Troy played well and in a run based attack was our leading receiver.

hmmm... I don't know about this, but:
Offensive = Clinton Portis - 406 Att for 1651 Yards 19 TD's, 20 Rec for 174 Yds
Defensive might be a tie:
Brian Simmons = 112 Tack, 6 Sack, 3 FF, 2 INT's
Samari Rolle = 56 Tack, 1 FR, 6 INT, 3 TD's
After looking at that, I would say Simmons, but the TD's count more to some.
All my rookies didn't perform much, so I won't even bother.
Thanks for doing the work on this!

Buffalo Bills:
OPOTY: TE LJ Smith. Had a breakout year and will be Losmans favorite target for years to come. Is a great all-round TE, great hands and awareness. Great player to have at TE, permanent threat of getting big plays and huge help for younger QBs.
Stats: 78 receptions, 1019 yards, 7 TDs.
DPOTY: DE Eric Barton. Spikes, Reed and Suggs had also great years but i decided to go with Barton cause he was the biggest surprise in my eyes. He is a former LB and if iam honest it was more of a desperation move to change him from ROLB to RE. There wasnt a starter spot left for him, except RE. He was a defensive leader from the first day of this season and had grerat numbers for a DE in this league. He made change my mind about how DEs should look like, now iam very far away from this massive DEs getting hardly tackles and more a friend of speed, tackling and awareness combination players for DE. Has gained a trip to Hawaii in his first season as DE.
Stats: 59 tackles, 9 sacks, 2 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD
ROTY: Two candidates here: RB Summers and OLB Jefferson
I decided to go with Summers. He is exactly the type of RB i like and wanted after the departure of Travis Henry. Iam more a fan of this power-runners. His low awareness hurt his productivity a bit, but that will get better and better. He is a great combination of strength and speed. I personally even think that strenght is more important than tackle-breaking for a RB. What can a RB do with 99 tackle breaking if he hasnt the strenght to break them? And on the breaking of tackles you can work, but not on the natural strenght of a RB. Iam very happy with the rookie campain of Summers.
Stats: 862 yards rushing, 3.1 ypc, 9 TDs. 14 receptions for 66 yards.
....................................
Honorable mention is FB Maurice Clarrett, who is the pancake leader of my team this season and only allowed one single sack.

I have nothing but good memories of playing for the Bills. It's something I cherish. When I was playing for the Pats, I'd wear a Bills T-shirt under my uniform. Someone came up to me one day and said, 'Fred, no matter what you wear on the outside, you,ll always be a Buffalo Bill on the inside.'
