activity is a good thing...posting something like this is always good. Not saying you're a bad owner, but asking if you are required to do it may not always be that good.
To be honest the reason I havent done one is that I don't know the owners very well.. but I'll give it a shot right now. Can't do anything but make me look stupid and I do that well enough as it is.
I like the Eagles here. They have a good offense and a defense that I feel will cause problems for others. McNabb, Taylor, Fitzgerald, Clark, and Owens. I like the way this offense looks. They should put up plenty of points and with thier solid defense are my pick to win the NFC east.
NFC NORTH
1. Packers
2. Bears
3. Vikings
4. Lions
I like the Packers to take the north. I think Favre and company are the most well rounded team in this division. I don't really see much competition from the other teams. I predict they will win the division by 4 games
NFC SOUTH
1. Falcons
2. Panthers
3. Saints
4. Bucs
I can't bet against Vick. All he does is win games when he lines up under center. This team went to the superbowl and with Vick they have a good shot at making it back. Duckett gives them the power back they need to punish defenses. I think this division could have 3 teams with 9 wins or more.
NFC WEST
1. Rams
2. Seattle
3. 49ers
4. Cards
This was the hardest one to pick because none of the teams stand out to me. I went with the Rams because of thier QB Bulger. He is the best in the division and I think this will help the Rams and thier weak defense to win the division, but I don't see them making it very far in the the playoffs.
Pick to represent the NFC : Atlanta Falcons
AFC EAST
1. Patriots
2. Dolphins
3. Jets
4. Bills
I pick the Patriots here. I like Tom Brady and I think they have enough to beat the other teams in this division. The only thing in my mind that should keep the Patriots from winning this division would be coaching decisions or injuries.
AFC NORTH
1. Browns
2. Ravens
3. Steelers
4. Bengals
I am picking the Browns here because I have been told over and over that thier owner will make up for his lack of talent with his coaching. With the Ravens Owner (me) being new, I give the edge to experience.
AFC SOUTH
1. Colts
2. Titans
3. Texans
4. Jags
I think Manning will have another great year and the Colts will find themselves as the divisional winners. This is probably the toughest division from top to bottom. You could probably move any of the teams around and not get too much of a complaint from me. I just think the Colts will pull this one out.
AFC WEST
1. Chiefs
2. Raiders
3. Broncos
4. Chargers
I pick the Chiefs here because of thier offense. I don't think this division is that strong and I think the Chiefs will win it easily if Holmes stays healthy. If he goes down, then the division becomes wide open.
This is tight division and any of the top three can win it. I like Philly to take it because of their balance on offense and defense.
NFC NORTH
1. Green Bay
2. Detroit
3. Minnesota
4. Chicago
Another division where the top 3 teams are real tight. Green Bay has the best team on paper but they have some weak spots. Detroit and Minnesota both should challenge but the Pack's talent should win out
NFC SOUTH
1.Atlanta
2. New Orleans
3. Tampa Bay
4. Carolina
This is a weak division and the Falcons win by default. The Saints are a couple pieces away on defense. The bottom two comes down to who steps up, Chris Simms or the Panthers Defense.
NFC WEST
1. San Francisco
2. St. Louis
3. Seattle
4. Arizona
This is another tight race between 3 teams. If the niners youth steps up, and i think it will, they should take it. If not look for St. Louis to be on top of Seattle. The Cards still have a ways to go.
AFC EAST
1. Miami
2. New England
3. NY Jets
4. Buffalo
This battle is between the Phins and Pats, and i like the fins because of their domintating defense. You can never count the Patriots out however, and they have just as good of a shot to win it. The Jets and Bills probably will finish well below .500
AFC NORTH
1. Ravens
2. Browns
3. Steelers
4. Bengals
The Ravens are the defending Superbowl Champs and are my pick to win it again. The Browns have solidified themselves as the #2 team in this division and should contend for a wild card spot. The Steelers have slipped but wont be terrible. The Bengals are still the Bengals.
AFC SOUTH
1. Tennessee
2. Indy
3. Jacksonville
4. Houston
Tennessee could challenge Baltimore to represent the AFC in the super-bowl. Indy and Jacksonville both look to be wildcard contenders, but i look for Indy to finish on top. Houston is still making strides but they are in a very tough division.
AFC WEST
1. KC
2. Oakland
3. San Diego
4. Denver
I think KC could probably beat any NFC team, but they are only third best in the AFC. Oakland will be in the wildcard hunt, but i dont think they will get a spot. San Diego is getting better and Denver is getting worse.

Lions- probably still suck
NFC East: The talent level in this division is extremely close in fact unlike everyone else I think this division is the closest division there is any one of the four teams could win this division chances are the injuries may determine the winner or who finishes in last place we could come down to last week of the season and all four teams could still be going for the Division win. Since I have to pick in order this is my order Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, New York Giants. The Giants could easily take first in the Cowboys take last predicting this division is like playing the lottery.
Ok... So I got THE ORDER right here except Dallas was in last instead of 1st.. thats pretty good.
Quote:
NFC North: This division gets simpler, because it is easy for me to predict that the Bears will finish in last place in my mind their only three competitive teams in this division. The Packers should lead the way winning this division, I expect the Vikings to take it to the end of the season in challenging for the division crown, but just falling short. The Lions could challenge the Vikings for second place and a possible wild-card this will be another growing year for the Lions, who will be ready to try to take this division next year after Brett Favre retires and moves out of the way.
I got this pretty good.. I said the vikes would take second but I also mentioned that there was a good chance that the lions challenged for 2nd..
Quote:
NFC South: Last year the NFC South was a battle between the Panthers in the Falcons. This year the NFC South will be a battle between the Falcons and the Saints but the Falcons will once again win this division. The Saints will fight for a wild-card spot. Carolina will do their best to take second but will finish third and the Bucs will finish at the bottom of this division last year I predicted that the Bucs would go downhill before they went uphill this year is that downhill year.
Did I mention that the NFC south would be a batlle between Carolina and Atlanta? But that the Falcons will once again win.. Saints fought for a wildcard just not very hard.. lol.. and the Bucs.. well they were at the bottom?? !! ??
Quote:
NFC West: Last year the Cardinals held the spot of the highest pick in the draft although they did not have that pick the Jaguars did and it was eventually traded to the 49ers the Cardinals actually held the position next year the Cardinals may very well hold that position again, needless to say I think the Cardinals will take last place it in the NFC West. The 49ers will try hard to beat the Rams for first place in this division but that will be the only battle in this division. The Seahawks will take third but they won't do much better than the Cardinals.
I guess I know my division don't I?
Quote:
AFC East: the Dolphins are the reigning champion in a division that was weaker than it should have been last year the battle here will be between the Dolphins and the Jets but I think the Dolphins will once again win this division. The Patriots will take third in the bills will once again finish at the bottom 15 -- 1 is a joke 4 -- 12 is much more realistic.
Ok I was wrong here.. but lets face it this division sucked this year.. 1..2..3 all withing a game of each other.. BUT I was right about the Bills wasn't I??
Quote:
AFC North: The ravens are the defending Super Bowl champions they are still good but not as good as they were last year the Browns and Steelers will both present a challenge to the ravens for first place in this division the bungles will settle for last as normal. I see it being a close finish between the Browns and the Ravens. The Browns will surprise people they will take this division the ravens will take second in her and a wild-card Steelers will come in close third and bangles of course mop up the rear.
OK dumb predicting the Brown to take anything lol.. I was right about the Steelers for the second half of the season only lol... And I dunno if its possible to be wrong about the Bungles
Quote:
AFC South: Ladies and gentlemen this division will produce the representative for the AFC in the Super Bowl. So let me take you from the bottom up finishing in last will be the Texans a base has been laid here in this team could be strong in the future but this is not their year. If the Colts have learned their lesson from last year and realize that they need to put unrelenting pressure on from their offense scoring as many points as possible they could possibly push for the division lead a still weak defense has me predicting this team taking third in this division. The Jaguars in a healthy Byron Leftwich will finish in second and they will push hard for a wild-card. That of course leaves the Titans who I am predicting will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
Well I predicted they will have a super bowl rep I got a 1/3 chance now on that I got the Texans right... but the Colts wrong..
Quote:
AFC West: if the Chiefs defense somehow manages to do what it did last year and Italian stallion gets his offense on track to Chiefs will easily when this division and could make a run deep in the playoffs, this year I expect things to be normal to Chiefs offense should give more production and the defense should be closer to the middle of the pack. Regardless of that the chief still won this division. The Raiders should have second-place wrapped up a don't see them unseating the Chiefs this year but I also don't see them falling to the Broncos are Chargers. The Broncos and Chargers will battle for third there is a good chance both of these teams finish with the same record with five or six wins but since I have to pick a winner I choose the Chargers because of owner experience.
Some people say its the best division in the league.. I don't think so I think its the only division without a below average team..
Predicted FIVE of the NFC teams that are in the playoffs!!
Quote:
AFC East: Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, Bill
AFC North: Browns, ravens, Steelers, bungles
AFC South: Titans, Jaguars, Colts, Texans
AFC West: Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Broncos
NFC EAST
1. Eagles: They've always had the talent, but now they have a good owner in James/Sick on their side. I think he can help Philly to realize its potential, and I think this team will be going places. RECORD: 11-5
2. Giants: The reigning division champs look to repeat their suprise season, but I don't think they can do it two years in a row. Raoul is inexperienced as an owner, so it will probably take some time to adjust. RECORD: 9-7*
3. Cowboys: If the Skins can find a good owner, this team is in danger of finishing last. Its not that they don't have talent, or that they don't have a good owner (Chaos), but Henson is young and must approve his awareness before this team can go anywhere. The D looks strong, though. RECORD: 6-10
4. Redskins: Very talented, but ownerless (?) at the moment. Another year for the D to develop and a solid owner, and this team will be tough to beat. RECORD: 6-10
I was close...I did say if the Skins found a solid owner that they would be better. And they found a solid owner...therefore they were better than expected. And I also said the Boys were in danger of finishing last. And of course, most importantly, I picked the Eagles to win it .
Quote:
NFC NORTH
1. Packers: Amazing offense with Favre, Green, and arguably the best O-Line in the league. If the D can hold up, you might as well pencil them in as the winners of this division. RECORD: 12-4
2. Vikings: Another offensive powerhouse, but their O isn't nearly as good as that of the Packers...and neither is their D. RECORD: 9-7*
3. Lions: Bfy did a great job with the Lions in the beginning of the season, but they fell off a little towards the end. This team is by no means a bad team, but this is a pretty tough division. RECORD: 8-8
4. Bears: Questionable move, trading the centerpiece of their feared D, Brian Urlacher, to the 49ers for Kevan Barlow. Their D is below average now, but a strong running game should help them win some games. RECORD: 3-13
Picked the Pack to win it, the Bears to finish last. Vikings let me down a little bit, I had them in the playoffs...
Quote:
NFC SOUTH
1. Falcons: Win this fairly weak division with out much competition, with a very young yet already good team. They were the NFC champs last year and they are they favorites to win the NFC again. RECORD: 12-4
2. Panthers: Their below average O-Line and average HB will force them to rely mostly on their passing game. Their D is strong is some places and weak in others. I can't see this team being any better than average. RECORD: 8-8
3. Saints: They have the potential to suprise some people, but I'm not confident that Aaron Brooks can lead this team to success. They strengthened their D, but took a hit when they traded pro bowl WR Tai Streets. RECORD: 8-8
4. Bucs: Again, I just don't have faith in young QBs. They will make many mistakes before they improve, so Simms can expect to have a dismal season. Chris Brown will shine, and the D isn't too shabby either. RECORD: 5-11
Hey, what do you know, right again . Panthers proved me wrong, they were better than average, but I wasn't far off at all.
Quote:
NFC WEST
1. 49ers: Cash showed that he thinks his team can win now by signing Isaac Bruce to a one year deal. They'll be good enough to make the playoffs this year, but with the mammoth draft they just had, this team is a dynasty in the making. RECORD: 9-7
2. Seahawks: They're limited by lack of talent/experience at QB, but this is another team that is built for the future. This team is structured similarly to the Niners, but I think the ownership skills advantage belongs to Cash. RECORD: 7-9
3. Rams: Have enough talent to stay out of the cellar, even with an inexperienced owner. They have a high powered offense and a sturdy and improving D. RECORD: 5-11
4. Cardinals: They were looking good until the salary cap caused some casualties. They will suffer severely, lurking among the worst of the teams in the NFL. RECORD: 3-13
No one knew the Rams were going to finish with the league's best record...but it was foolish of me to put them at 5-11. Hey, some of you had them below the Cards, so I guess at least I got that much right. The Niners are playoff bound, but they didn't win the division.
Quote:
AFC EAST
1. Dolphins: They held the best record in the sim league last season, and they've gotten even better this season. The additions of Donovan Darius and Charles Grant on defense more than make up for the retirement of Junior Seau. RECORD: 13-3
2. Patriots: They're easily just as talented as the Phins, but can they live up to their potential? They couldn't last year, and there's nothing leading me to believe that they can this year, either. RECORD: 9-7
3. Bills: They are a strong team, but not quite as strong as the Phins or Pats. And besides, Losman still has to show that he can play in the NFL...if I remember correctly he had 30+ INTs last season. Once he develops, they can compete. RECORD: 8-8
4. Jets: Aging offense + weak o-line + below average D = last place finish. They were obviously thinking for the future when they drafted Carnell Williams, and that should pay off in a few years. RECORD: 4-12
Overestimated the Phins, ya let me down Slick ! Not too far off with the Pats, Bills, or Jets though.
Quote:
AFC North
1. Ravens: Best team in the league, in my opinion. They are the reigning champs, and they won their championship without much of an owner last season. With all their talent, I think they can do it again. RECORD: 14-2
2. Browns: Esimorp showed that he was a talented owner last season, and that was without a very talented team. Well the team is talented now, and if not for the Ravens, they'd be a high seeded playoff team. RECORD: 11-5*
3. Bengals: Young and improving...however, they aren't quite there yet. Give Palmer a year or two to develop, and the Bengals will be challenging the Ravens for the division. RECORD: 6-10
4. Steelers: Gave the team a boost when they decided to start veteran Kurt Warner over 2nd year QB Ben Rothlisberger. Not that Ben is a bad QB...just inexperienced. However, I think Ben will take over not too far into the season, once TheOne realizes that his chances of winning this division are very slim. RECORD: 6-10
What was I thinking, 14-2? Okay, at least I got the divisional winner right. I overestimated the Browns, but then again, who didn't?
Quote:
AFC SOUTH
1. Titans: The big 3 of McNair, Alexander, and Coles is the best in the league. They have a young d-line, a strong linebacker core, and a great secondary. There's nothing I don't like about this team. RECORD: 13-3
2. Texans: Young, improving offensive core is ready to step it up a notch this season. Added WR Muhsin Muhammed to give David Carr someone else to throw to besides Andre Johnson. The revamped d-line, including Shaun Ellis, should be much improved. Every started in the secondary is 25 or younger, so they might be a little shaky now, but they should develop nicely. RECORD: 10-6*
3. Colts: One of the best offenses in the league, led by Peyton Manning. The defense is much improved, but I can see their weak secondary being their downfall. They get a boost from having a strong owner (Swoosh). RECORD: 9-7
4. Jaguars: A good team that falls victim to being in a very tough division. Leftwich has Reggie Williams to throw to, but not much else. Will Marshall Faulk begin to show signs aging? RECORD: 6-10
Haha, wishful thinking by me. I mean, I had to show confidence, right? I think deep down I knew I wouldn't make it...oh well. Colts surprised me with their D, nice job Swoosh. Minor underestimation on the Jags.
Quote:
AFC WEST
1. Chiefs: IS breathed a sigh of relief once Sick Nasty headed east to Philli. The Chiefs are now not only the most talented team in the division, but they have the most successful owner as well. RECORD: 10-6
2. Chargers: Tigam has done a fine job this offseason in improving his last place Bolts, adding Joey Galloway, Adrian Wilson, Julian Peterson, and Vince Wilfork. They will put up a fight, but its just not their time yet. RECORD: 8-8
3. Raiders: Sick left them, but they still have a tremendous amount of talent. They have the potential to win this division, but it might take Surlent a few weeks too many to adjust to his new team. RECORD: 8-8
4. Broncos: Adding Jeff Garcia was NOT a smart decision in my opinion. Denver should use this season to develop the skills of rookie QB Matt Leinart, so they have a shot at the division next season. The West is too deep this season for the Broncos to win it. RECORD: 5-11
The Broncos? Who knew? Chiefs came close, making the playoffs...I predicted a three team race, just turns out it was the wrong three teams.
Woohoo, predicted the Eagles seeding and everything! The Niners/Eagles matchup could still possibly happen...not likely, but possible. Chiefs Ravens could be a conference championship matchup as well...not doing too bad so far, eh?
Quote:
SUPERBOWL
Chiefs def. Eagles
Season II Champions: Kansas City Chiefs
My prediction is still alive! Come on IS, make it happen!
Plus 7 of the 8 teams you picked got in the playoffs... so you weren't really far off on the ones you missed either. Impressive man.
