My proposal is we throw redskinsfan out of the league.
My personal opinion of him notwithstanding, I feel redskins lacks the necessary knowledge and experience to be able to run a team in this league. It is my belief that severely inexperienced owners would spoil the experience for the rest of us.
Cashpath is the commish, yes, and he moderates trades, yes. But I can see trades that just sneak under the bar for getting vetoed by the commish that will work toward unfairly unbalancing the league.
Example, you ask?
My very own trade with fearme - Brett Favre for Byron Leftwich and a 1st Rounder. We all bloody know that Favre lasts two seasons if you're extremely lucky and that by year 2 I'll have a young, quickly developing QB together with the Jags' 1st round pick, while they're stuck with a retired superstar.
I'm proposing we sack redskins for extreme incapability, the guy couldn't even find the blindingly obvious list of ratings on ign previously, and then didn't know nfl.com listed the players.. maybe a league for complete newbies would be more appropriate, but I fear he would exploited.
Additionally, I'd like to propose cash applies pretty a severe test for reasonableness when approving trades. I feel insecure with the current situation.. I mean come on, vultures such as Billster keep crowding around owners like redskins and ramsfan, who has also shown a lack of awareness as to the consequences of trades, but I stand by my point that redskins outdoes EVERYONE as far as lack of knowledge, awareness, or any clue goes.
This isn't me being mean, isn't me being rude or aggressive - I'm stating a fact, and believe anyone who doubts my words should refer to the hottest trade threads and evaluate what's going on there.
i really dont know man...but in our trade situation i wanted it because i think Favre can lead my team to an early superbowl and after he retires yes i will need to improve my QB position but thats a risk i was willing to take
oh and i didnt want Leftwich on my team b/c he is a INT machine but o well about redskins i guess he deserves to be in the league just as much as any one who cares if he makes stupid trades it only hurts himself no one else "not saying u do redskins" any ways i dont know what to say about this subject....
But it does hurt us, first it was Sean Taylor, now it's Champ Bailey, you think it makes no difference to you if say the Indy owner traded for Champ? It makes a difference, I just wish people would pay full price for that difference.

1st off you completely wrong about the Farve trade!
Remember that we are going to be in ths elague for about 5 season. and NO ONE I REPEAT NO ONE will be competitive (to the point of a SB appearance) all 5 of those years with the exception of one club in my opinion (who I won't mention). You either have to try and win it now or go for it later. Fearme felt that it was his best option to go for it now which he's doing. I think the 1st rounder was too much but Farve for Leftwich str8 up is a great trade for him since it allows him to make a run for it now and you a chance to make it a run for it later (even though you'lll be in the hunt early on, but Leftwich might take u out of it)

I really can not say anything about redskins because i have not viewed all of his trades, but what i can say is that there are people who are willing to do anything for a player. Now i do not know but some of these guys may be younger and just want that big name guy on their team and nothing else matters. Others are trying to build a juggernaut and are doing so through certain people. As long as there is a reasonable explination for the trade then i see no problem w/ it. How about from now on w/ any questionable trades both parties are given a chance to explain themselves. If the explination is adequate then everything is fine. if not maybe we can have a probation or something. Because there may be some trades that look lopsided but that the person ids just overloaded w/ talent at one position and desperate for it at another.
i personally understand where you are coming from vlad, in the fact that a less knowledgable person could make it bad, and by no means am i picking redskins out as i feel that i dotn know how his trades are going or anything, however...picking him out without discussing it previously with cash, harty slick, or any other mod for that matter, i feel that is a bit too "in your face". if i was him and came here to see that i would be real upset, like really upset, as he obviously feels he knows enough to be in the league, that is a little thick skinned vlad. if i could i would delete this thread, although the point is valid, it is too personal to be a thread, if it was on a genreal note, fine, but it isnt.

There is no trade in place for Champ Bailey from what I've seen so i have no idea what your talking about. I inquired about him but no trade was made.
Your resignation from the league was a bit premature in my opinion, but it is what it is.
Personally I dont' think the sime league is ruined or that anything has been done to compromise the others. Truth is that agreed trades thread allows us to see what the otehrs are up to and to outbid bad trades. I mean even if it's not a need of mine I would still outbid and not to mention if no one did then cash wouldn't allow it.
I don't think quitting resolves anything. I dont' think the league has been compromised like PMoney said and I do think it was premature. Redskins hasn't made any deal that hurts him or give anyone else a substanstial lead. His new deal with the Bills is pretty good, for him.
Personally I think its unfair to exclude members from the sim league and cash has already take gardner out. I think that as we move forward and have more sim leagues (as we get more members) then we can expect something of that nature (more experienced players) but even so redskins hasn't done anythign to jeapordize the league.

I am at a loss of words...I would never think that this would be a thread. I can't believe people are acting like this. I can't fathem at the thought of someone quitting because ONE owner, in your opinion, is giving his team away. I am just suprised something wasn't said about me wanting to trade and accomplishing it, pending Cashes approval, Edgerrin James. I can see where Skins come from and he's prolly doing the same as me. He might have high priced players that he can't really afford and for him to keep them will be very costly. I have not "researched" it, but that is what I think; which is an opinion.

Well I read the whole thread before my second post and it changed nothing. I guess you just got in the wrong Sim League Vlad.. This one is not for you... Never will be. Because I am in charge of it. Your best bet would be to start your own. Make your own rules and run it, I think it would make you happy. (Although the amount of work involved might make you understand why your superiority complex is not appreciated especially when you aren't in charge)
