I understand teams have not yet been distributed with 100% certainty, but I hope this will stimulate some tentative trade talk before the league kicks off.
I personally believe that the Saints are giving up too much in regards of draft picks. McKenzie is good but he is not a shut-down corner. He is an immediate starter but so can be a third round pick. I at least think that a third round pick has a higher starting value than a fourth rounder. Therefor, if looked at from my point of view, the Saints are giving away two starters (one assumable) and an additional draft pick for one starter and a lowend pick.

qb8, we are talking madden here. While Joey Porter (third round wonder) happens in the real NFL its a lot less likely in madden drafts. Furthermore, the Saints are losing depth at their deepest position while drastically improving their secondary. I believe the corner position merits a premium, especially since Green Bay make the bigger loss in having to start Carroll at left CB.
i beleive I'm making a good choice...now i can move darren howard 88 overall to LE and start will smith at RE...which i really wanted to do....plus i needed a better cb and have some trade bait in fred thomas, jason croft, or ashley ambrose
I understand that we are talking Madden here, but doesn't a third round pick still get more playing time and is higher in the depth chart? In this case, they will have increased progression throughout the season. And this is Madden 2005, not 2004 where by the third round there are not good players. With everyone manually choosing, the chance of having a quality player still available in the third round is high. And did we forget about the preseason and the position competitions?? I have seen personally where low rated players gain a lot of attribute points just because they are competing for the spot. This of course is my opinion, but we all need to know that this is not the old madden, it's a new version with new ways of doing things so it WILL be different.
Come on people... we need more talk here. I feel like I am by myself.

Since both sides seem happy with the trade I think the only thing that matters now is that other people could offer up somthing better to either side for what they are trading..

No we won't have votes on trades.. it takes to long.. people will be able to trade whatever they want ... with the commissioner (me) able to throw up a vote to veto a trade if he feels that it is a crazy (CRAZY) trade...
