Our owner is still looking to fill lots of positions. He will offer contracts and most likely starting jobs to new players. If anyone wants in on this, just create a player then let either of us know so we can make sure you are offered a contract. At this point, it looks like our team's main needs are FB, DE, LB, & CB. You may be offered a contract if you play another position, but you wouldn't see as much playing time as someone who plays one of the positions mentioned above.

Thanks man, I owe you one. Just wondering, does it matter that all my skill things are in the red (when it shows them on that bar chart thing)? I assume they'll get better, but I wanted to know if that is a bit low to start with.
Most players (especially in the lower leagues) are where you are GPG. If you look at my guy, he is only just in the yellow in some categories and I've been here since the third game or so of the first season (only been one so far). As far as I can tell the "special skills" don't effect the bars you're referring to.
You will gain the first few levels pretty quickly, likely levelling up the first time after our first game.

Cash, you would need 1000 "Flex Points" to run a team for 2 seasons. As the owner, you would sign/recruit players, manage prices/contracts, make trades, etc. You have the option of earning these points by referring people to the site (after you create an account) or you could simply pay $8.50 for them. Each season takes about 40 days.
I just created an OT using some of my referral flex points. He and my WR will be signed to one year contracts this year, so both would really consider playing for any team owned by someone from Maddenboard once the next season begins.

My team lost in OT to the same team we lost to in the first round of the playoffs last season. My guy (cornerback) continued his dominance with an interception, and only allowing a couple passes of 8 and 12 yards on him, but a loss is a loss.
lol, our GM is putting in a sucky *** Right Guard (his player) over me. I'm a better blocker.

Well my team just moved to 2-1. My guy didn't do much this game (except blanket his receivers). Our defense is dominant ... 25 turnovers (13 INTs, 12 fumble recoveries) in three games. Our offense is starting to pick up some of the slack (we lost despite getting 9 turnovers in our first game).
I like my team and my owner, and hope we can move up to USA Pro League after this season.

I agree, my team with my NT got a new owner and he is starting a pass rushing DT at NT and my DT built like a NT at 2nd string DT despite being better than the guy in front of me.
There really are some stupid GM's on this game. Makes me appreciate the head guys on my team with my OG.
