at least in hockey you can be smart......footballs for stupid thugs, baseballs for druggies(steriods), and basketballs for druggies too(crack, cocaine).

Exactly... What makes it even worse is that it wasn't even "Roid Rage" He attacked someone from behind and broke his neck... people don't "attack" other people from behind in football... Sure the guy with the ball can get tackled from behind but he's expecting it, and a block in the back is illegal...
