I got it just under a week ago and haven't really had a whole lot of time to play it, even so, when I have, I absolutely love it.
Of course, I am predisposed to love this game, as I'm a huge fan of the series to say the least. But its executed briliiantly on the Wii, even if I am a biased opinion.
There are 16 Classic, and 16 New courses. My only issue would be with the Classics, I know its subjective, but it seems to me there are some they should have put on there that they haven't. DS Yoshi's falls for example should definately make way for Yoshi's Valley on the N64..
The addition of bikes is great, along with tricks to boost, the problem being how much better they are than Karts though...There really is no reason to not be a bike, except weight, but I balance that by being DK (converted from being a life long Toad fan..)
But generally, its amazing. Just wondered who else had played it/owns it/was thinking of trying it out?

I'm planning on getting it soon, I'm running a bit low on money right now. I should get it in a couple weeks, and I'm really looking forward to it. How are the controls on it? I rember that with Need For Speed Carbon controls were a bit too sensative, is it the same with Mario Kart?
No not at all. The controls are perfect. It takes really one Grand Prix maybe two, to get used to the amount to move it. Then it just sticks, if you can play Mario Kart, you can play it on the Wii...
If you are thinking of getting it GPG, I have a brand new copy, unopened which I am going to put on eBay for 30 instead of 35...So if you want to get the game, I can save you a 5er..(I wont put it on until you have the money if you want to buy it, and then Ill just do a "buy it now"...Let me know...)
Well Kevin I know you are a Nintendo fan, I think you will love the game..
