Well, for those who are avid gamers like me..you'll know that these next two weeks for games will be awesome.
Assassin's Creed (multi-platform) and Crysis (PC) will be coming out tomorrow.
They both look to be awesome.
Assassins Creed is a third person style game. You play an assassin (who'd have guessed?) Altair who has to carry out various types of assassinations. Supposedly there will be fully interactive environments that let you carry our your mission on how you want to. It looks amazing for those who have kept up on it. It takes place in the 1100 AD Jerusalem.
Crysis is a first person shooter that requires a pretty good computer to play it. Regardless, the graphics and game play look awesome. A lot of the environment will be destructible. You can shoot down trees, punch holes in buildings - that sort of thing. Kind of a modern sci-fi type of setting.
Then next week the game of the century will be coming out. At least, I think it'll be the game of the century. Mass Effect. I made a thread about it a while ago. A shooter/RPG hybrid type game that will probably last you about 40 hours of solid game play with amazing re playability as it's been promised. A sci-fi futuristic game that looks to be a hell of trip. I can't wait for it.
Sadly buying these games has left me broke, heh. It's too bad as I really would like to pick up the expansion to Company of Heroes. Cash thinks it's worth the money so I'll have to find a way to get it, as I do love CoH.
I might pay attention to Assassins Creed as someone else plays it... But I'm really not into shooter games. It'll be huge when they come out with the new StarCraft comes out... I'll love that.

Extremists are like slinkys... Ultimately useless in the grand scheme of things... But still brings a smile to the face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I will have to agree with you on this as I really look forward to it's release...
The simple fact is that he is a over rated piece of **** that can't cover. He makes bad reads on routes and lacks the ability to recover when he is beaten.
For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
Call of Duty 4 was a good game. I got it on the PC, but I imagine it's just as good on the 360 or whatever console you get it on.
The only thing that sucks about it is the singleplayer isn't very long. The multiplayer is great though.
I'll have to let you guys know how Assassins Creed is, I should be playing it a today hopefully.
Well tell us how it is? LOL I see you've played it on your Xbox 360 gameplate or whatever it's called...I might need something to buy if I get a 360 for Christmas.

Oh man, Assassins Creed is insane. I mean, it really is mind boggling. You get to be in these huge cities like Jerusalem and Damascus and the things you can do in the game are just breath taking. Altair (the assassin) can climb ANYTNING that basically juts out from a building. So it basically means you can climb anything. Running across the roof tops alone is fun as hell.
Combat is pretty intense too. After you make an assassination the entire city guard is after you and escaping is fun in it's own right. You can out run them on the roof tops, as Altair is a lot more athletic than the guards or go through the city streets.
I haven't beaten the game yet, I'd say I'm 2/3 done right now. I mean, the game is probably like 12-15 hours if you played straight through. However, there are a lot of things you can do in the cities such as save citizens, climb view points, collect these special flags all over the city. If you did everything in each city the game would last A LOT longer.
One of the cool things is the more things you do, the easier it to do your assassinations. It gives you better escape routes if you go to the viewmaps as it reveals the map, saving citizens will give you certain bonuses like viglantes slowing down the guards if they're pursuing you and a few other things too. A really kick *** game.
When I'm done playing it I'll probably start a new game and do everything it has to offer.
I won't give anything away story wise, but let's just say it's a lot different than I was expecting..
