Guitar Hero III
Anyone got it yet? I just read a lot of good reviews for it and all of them say it's the same game for all 3 platforms(If only EA could do this!) so I'll probably pick it up over the weekend. What do you all think of it?

It's wicked! I've played it at friends' houses and I'm going to pick up a bundle after work.

FutureShop sells a bundle (for $109) that includes a wireless guitar and stand. I plan on rockin' out all weekend (assuming the gf doesn't go into labour), so I'll check in on Monday with an update.

I believe I played this game at a Best Buy a week or two ago...it was some form of Guitar Hero, guessing it was this one. Anyway it was the first time I've ever played any Guitar Hero, and I'm hooked. I want to buy it but I'm a little strapped for cash...guess I'll wait til Christmas .

It's odd though, since I've never played guitar and rock isn't neccessarily my first choice in music...but the game is very addictive.

Oh, BTW - It sounds like the company that makes Guitar Hero, Harmonix, is using the GH software as a tune up for a better game - Rock Band.

Yeah, I've been watching the progress of both Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, so at this point, I'm not really sure which one I would want to get.

Rock Band seems to have a much better song selection though, so that is a plus.

The turn off to Rock band is it's a bit more pricey. So that would probably be the bigger factor right now.

Indeed, that's my point, lol.

I'd have to REALLY want it for me to buy it. Even then, I'm not sure if I would. It's just too pricey and quite frankly I don't know if it would be worth it.

It does sound cooler than Guitar Hero III though..
