Any of you guys had a chance to play this game yet? It's on the Xbox 360 and PC. I have to tell you, from the little I've played (the game is pretty long), it's unbelievable.
The graphics and game play are insane. You need a pretty nice computer to run it, but even if you play it on the 360, the graphics are still amazing.
Also it should be noted, this isn't a game for kids, it can be pretty down right disturbing and has quite a bit of gore too.
The storyline is absolutely amazing, and while I won't ruin anything for you, I'll just give a basic summary of the story.
It's based around the mid 60's - so there isn't a ton of modern weaponry. Basically, you're in this underwater city called The Rapture, where things have kind of gotten out of hand because of some genetic mutations and the city is falling apart almost. There's all sorts of plot twists and interesting decisions to make that make the game very compelling and quite re playable.
If you haven't had a chance to play it, the game is definitely worth renting/buying - but as I mentioned, is not for the weak stomached and it's not something you'd want to play infront of your kids.
I've played the first little bit of the demo on the 360, before it got too late and I had to get some sleep. (Haven't played again as I've been playing Madden/NCAA).
Like Forenci said, the graphics are amazing, though are also very bloody/disturbing at times. I think the "genetic mutations" (the enemies) could give many little kids nightmares. It seems like a very good game though.

Bahhh it cant be scarier than Doom III at night with all the lights off in the house and no one else home with the surround sound speakers turned up.....
Sounds cool though, I will have to check it out.

Yeah that game looks and sounds amazing from what I've read, and when a few more of the titles I'm looking forward to (Mass Effect, GTA 4, etc.) come out, it's gonna make Xbox 360 really hard to pass up.

Haha, Cash. Well as long as you don't let her watch you when you're destroying me in CoH, I think it's all good - lol.
As for it being scarier then Doom III..I'm not sure. I'd say BioShock darker and more disturbing than Doom III though. A lot more fun than Doom III I would say as well.
I'd definently reccomend getting a 360 sometime soon, Queviva. As you mentioned, there are just so many great games coming out for it. Mass Effect is the one I'm completely hyped up about and drooling over right now (have been since they announced it), but there are still many more to come out soon. Such as Halo 3.
