This is a tough one, and I'd have to say that it's:

1. Priest Holmes
2. Jamal Lewis
3. Deuce McAllister
4. Clinton Portis
5. Ahman Green

I also have to mention the skills of Marshall Faulk, Stephen Davis, Shaun Alexander, and Bryant Westbrook as well.

1 Holmes (he can catch he can run he's amazing)
2 Faulk (proven that he is the best but he's been injured)
3 Green (He fumbles to much)
4 Portis (he might be a product of the system)
5 Lewis (fluky season he gets the ball so much he should destroy the record)

Lol, I take it you're a Rams fan. I do think Marshall is an excellent running back, but he is near the end of his career and some of the younger backs are just flat out faster to the holes.

Its about time someone added Ladanian Tomlinson to thier list.. Personally I think he's the #1 back in the game right now, and if he stays healthy and the team around him ever gets good look for him to break some records..

Tomlinson will be one of the best if not thebest back ever. He has it all. Speed Power Catching ability. I love RB's taht can catch.

beside the U.M. back are always great RBs.... Edgerrin James, Clinton Portis, etc.
