who wil be the rushing stud this year.

Who do you all think will be the stud running back this year. I think that it will be amahn green, I think the packers will have the best ground attack this year not only because of green but because there back up backs are really good also. I am also interested to see the new running back that the lions signed, his last name is Jones, he's from viginia tech and he looked really good in the preseason game I saw.

Okay, I think you guys all know who I'm gonna say. Yeah, it might be because I'm biased, but hey, he's at least got a shot. Of course, I'm talking about Emmitt Smith. Haha, actually, of course, Priest Holmes. You may say he's too old, but I don't know. He gets to play against some pretty terrible D-Lines. He's also behind the best O-Line in football right now. Priest has been quoted on saying that he's happy that he got the TD record and now he wants yardage. He said he wants 2,000. 'Nuff said.

MY GOD!!! What the hell is wrong with you? I'm at a loss of words. I would've been okay if you had said something reasonable, but how can you say the RAIDERS? I don't even want to shoot you down on this one, get Harty or Cash in here fast... I'm going to the bathroom to make myself throw up after knowing that people are actually swallowing this Raider bull crap.

Yup, Matt is pulling out his A game sarcasm right there. That said, there'll be no stud this year. Like last year, Priest got the touchdowns, Jamal Lewis got the yards, LT was the entire offense for his team, Eddie George was all about leadership (:rolleyes2), and Ahman Green had a monster season, which made him the Packers' MVP. Oh and yea, lets not forget Clinton Portis with the flashiest ypc average to start a career and that spiffy shiny belt.

As for surprises however, lets see.. Steven Jackson? I really believe that guy's ready to beat up on defenses and let Marshall retire already. Furthermore, there's a guy by the name of Fargas, Justin Fargas, you don't know him yet, but Norv willing, he'll get his first 1K season down and send Hambrick home. Other than signing Hambrick, that immobile, brainless tub-o-lard, the Raiders have a very nice (note I didn't say great or supreme, so don't ***** IS ) rushing attack - Wheatley rumbles, Amos catches, and Fargas just jumps over people for the finesse 98-yard rushes.

I don't think jamal lewis is going to do very much this year, don't get me wrong he's a great running back but I think last year was going to be his one hit wonder. Now Preist Holmes on the other hand........well let's just say that church is in boys.

I have to take L.Tomblinson. Granted he is on a sub-par team, I think he can win the Rushing Title because Jamal Lewis might miss playing time due to his trial. My second choice is Stephen Davis if he stays healthy.

Hey Vlad, you can keep making comments on Eddie George, but I have no attachment to the guy so I don't really care. And to clear things up I never said I thought he was going to be good. Just better than that spineless gutless piece af retardedness you have for a running back now (Hambrick)

"Testost.. test.. testoster... I'm from Savannah State we don't have big words like that.." Troy Hambrick

Hehe, I'm all with you on Hambrick And yea I'm growing into a tired old joke with Eddie George. My point was that you can't judge a back on TDs or yards, we had so many of these studs last season.

Hey I could name 20 backs I would rather have in my backfield instead of eddie george, so I'm not all peaches and cream about him, but I could probably name 100 I would rather have instead of Troy Heck JJ may be better than Eddie and that obviously wouldn't bother me one bit

Stud RB for the 2004 season will be... Clinton Portis. He's a great RB that will be playing in a rush-friendly offense. A speedy WR (Coles) and a QB (Brunell) with a good arm to keep defenses honest. O-line isn't the best, especially with Jansen out for the season, but they are good enough. He'll hit the 1000yd mark by week 10. I predict a 1600-1800 yard season. 2000 isn't out of the question.

That stud has to go up against dallas twice and philly twice..

Don't know if that means anything... just saying it...

Doesn't Portis need an Offensive line in that system to get yards? And Vlad, if you don't judge a running back on yards and/or touchdowns, what do you judge them on? LT is the best back in the league because he does the most with the least, in terms of other offensive weapons and an offensive line.
