I agree, Collins has done a wonderful job managing the game and putting the Titans in a position to win. It also helps if your defense plays lights out.
This team seems kind of similar in make-up to the Ravens team that won the Super Bowl in 2001. Strong ball-hawking defense that keeps opponents' point totals down with a very capable running game and a journeyman QB who isn't spectacular but limits turnovers and simply manages the game.
I'm not saying the Titans' D is as good as that Ravens team (which is up there with the '85 Bears, '02 Bucs and '06 Bears with one of the best defensive teams of all time) but the team seems to be built in a similar fashion. Jeff Fisher's a good coach and has gone to a Super Bowl before... this team is looking legit.

... and looking at the schedule it doesn't get much harder from here. the AFC South is looking uncharacteristically weak (aside from the Titans) this year and they play the incredibly weak NFC North and mediocre AFC North. The only moderately difficult dates remaining on the schedule are Indy (home and away), Green Bay (home), *Jacksonville, Jets (home), and Pittsburgh (home). Four of those games, as you can see, are at home. The Titans are the beneficiaries of an extremely easy schedule this year but I don't think it should discount the quality of their play too much. I still see them winning this division (Indy looks very vulnerable and the Jags can't seem to get any consistency this year) pretty easily and quite possibly a first-round bye at the least.

Im not high on our bandwaggon. I dont think we are the 2nd best team in the league like Power Rankings suggest. Personally, I believe Dallas, New York G, are definitely better. Probably teams like Pitts are too. I think the league is far more even than in years passed, for the simple reason, the Pats and Colts are not looking like the dominant forces they have been for so many years...
Having said that, we dont pick our own schedules. And last year, if I remember correctly, we had one of the hardest schedules. Its just the way it goes.
All you can do is play the teams in front of you.

The Colts still have time to get it together not a lot of time though lol, the Pats could be tough to deal with if there d plays tough and gives the offense a chance to win the game.
The Titans are looking very impressive and with the way there d is going at it they will be a force I read today that Haynsworth has five sacks already this year thats pretty damn good for a DT.
Well its all dependent once again on Sanders for the Colts...
Yeah he has 5 sacks and 20 tackles I believe. He is playing like a beast, the whole D is. Finnegan and Griffin both lead the league in INTs too. And we are managing to get a lot of pressure with just the front 4, and not having to blitz. Which has been crucial to the success of the D so far..
