Okay guys, here's the deal.. I paid $100 to get in a FF League, and got stuck with the number 1 overall pick (I was hoping for 2nd or 3rd.. but the one year I don't want first overall I get stuck with it, lol) So, naturally I take LT.. I had wanted Peterson/Westbrook, but would've been stupid of me passing on LT then him exploding like he has in year's past..
Well, now I am looking to the trade market..
I've put LT out there, and told one player that I may consider trading him straight up for Marion Barber.. Thoughts?
I also told that player that I may move him if he could center something around Calvin Johnson... but in Detroit's offense I don't know if he's going to keep producing those numbers.
Now, if he does put together a good deal involving Calvin Johnson, that would give me Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitz, Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, and Eddie Royal (Everyone wants him right now).. Making one of them expendable...
Which of these guys would you move.. If I traded for Johnson, I would be preferably looking to trade one of these guys for a RB.. So Marshall or Fitz could bring me in a bigger name RB, still leaving me with the other option as well as Johnson, Williams, Royal, and Crayton..
I need help.. I'll progress as I pull the strings or decide against it.
First things first though.. Is LT done and do I try to move him?

Now I've got another offer for LT.. Frank Gore for LT straight up.. man so many decisions.. Should I just hold on to LT in hopes that he bounces back?
I would say look into moving Brandon Marshall. He just had assault charges brought against him here in Georgia. Look for him to possibly see a suspension. I would definitely hang on to Royal.
Personally I wouldn't trade LT. Once he comes back he will once again be the focus of that offense.
If you could get something to go with Barber I would do it as he is a touchdown machine when they get in GOAL situations.

I'm trading LT and Carson Palmer for Jay Cutler and Matt Forte.. I really dont know, as both players have struggled early, but I'm sure both will bounce back nicely during the season. This is the same player that hs Frank Gore.. If I trade LT, should I demand Gore be a part of it?

I had heard about that with Marshall, and I didn't think anything of it.. Now that you say it, that same member was also interested in Marshall.. Maybe I should shop him around to see if I can get something for him..

Palmer is a tough one. This past week they played in nasty weather but that offense has just looked horrible. They have no running game at all.
I think Cutler is heading for a big time season. So if it was me I would trade Palmer for Cutler in a heartbeat.
With Forte you know he is going to get carries because the Bears are going to try to run the ball and control the clock. I am just not sure I could give up LT for him.
If it was me I wouldn't have the balls to trade LT away. You might be different.

Oh and the reason I bring up the Marshall thing isn't because its a big deal but more because his name keeps getting in headlines. Remember even though Adam Jones never was convicted on crimes he was still suspended. Marshall keeps coming up on stuff like this so you have to imagine Goodell will be looking to do something soon to him.

I am going to try to get Cutler or Rodgers, which ever is easier, after this week concludes, and will start Garrard for the upcoming week. If LT doesn't play/produce this week, I think I am going to trade him.. As for Marshall, I'm just not sure what I will do about him just yet..
If it was LT and Palmer for Cutler and Barber I would do it in a heartbeat..
Dont think I would do it for Forte..
I'm with you on the whole LT going downhill thing.. I saw it last year. And I would have picked Adrain Peterson with the first OVR pick instead of LT.. Although my #2 would have been Barber.

lol fantasy football is great aint it. I dont think you could go wrong with either Cutler or Rodgers. I may lean towards Rodgers right now just because of the whole Marshall thing.
Also if you could work something out in getting Barber for LT I would go ahead in do it, Barber has been putting up some great points on my fantasy league team, also if he does have a down week some of the guys on your roster look like they could make up the difference in points you have some nice wr on the team.
Chargers are going to have a much better passing year this year than any other I can remember before it. I don't think other teams that play Chargers in that division have really caught on to this yet. As such... It's going to be a week or two of actually proving this more to get them to back off of LT. And when he is going to start shining again. It's just the way the game is played.
