The Falcons were said by all experts to be pure crap at EVERYTHING before the season started so saying it was just against the Lions really doesn't mean anything when it was a team that could have easily gone 0-16.

Well I'm happy to see Ryan and Turner were clicking in their Falcons debuts, congrats to both of them. I really am pulling for Atlanta to defy expectations this year and do well, like 7-9 or 8-8. It'd show a lot of progress after the Michael Vick debacle for them to go out and have a solid season.

Who expected the Falcons to go 0-16? Matt Ryan is very polished as far as rookie QBs go...dangerous running game with Turner and Norwood...decent weapons in the passing game with White and Jenkins...decent but not great defense. I'd say they're good for at least 5 wins, if not more in that weak division.
Is there a thread about Felix Jones first run yet?
