Now that's going to hurt the Pats. Wow...

One of my buddies called me and told me to go onto the Yahoo! Sports homepage and when I saw the headline "Brady out for season" I was speechless with elation. I almost shed tears of joy. Of course, I'm sure Matt Cassel will just go out and be awesome even though the last time he started a football game was at tight end at USC, because the Patriots are always lucky like that.

Well there goes the Pats Super Bowl chances and probably playoff chances. The Pats will probably have to run the ball a little bit more than they normally would just to take some pressure off from Cassel, looks like the Pat's can see what they have with Matt Cassel as there starting qb now.

Lose their playoff chances? I think you're overestimating the talent in their division. The AFC East is TERRIBLE... probably the worst division in football now that Brady is out. I had the curse of watching the Jets/Dolphins game yesterday and I have to say, that was pathetic football. You can praise Favre all you want, but the Jets are painfully average even with him.

The NFC has reclaimed the throne.

With all the other results yesterday; Colts losing to the Bears, Chargers to the Panthers, teams that were thought to have been top of the AFC losing to teams that were somewhere in the middle of the NFC last year, I'd have to agree.

Yeah there division is not all that much but the AFC in a whole is much better, even with the Chargers and Colts losing there first game I am pretty sure they will be in the playoff hunt for the whole year it was only one game and starting teams are still trying to get in sync with each other.

The Jags are still going to be a tough team to beat, the Steelers are usually always in the mix for a playoff spot and the Broncos looked good before I went to bed last night, and there are always teams that just play out of there minds for a season.
