Panthers signed running back Jonathan Stewart to a five-year deal that includes $10.8 million in guaranteed money, putting all their draft picks under contract early Saturday before the team's first training camp practice.
I'm still iffy about this draft pick, but only 10 million in guarenteed money, so it's not that bad.

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
I am excited to see what he can do. We might have a real RB in Carolina that might last longer than a year as the primary! Although I am not sure why they don't run DeAngelo more. I think he could be good, given the fact he's not an every down back....too small.
Now if on;y we can get a real QB and put some points on the board, maybe we can win some games!!
I think Stewart will work out fine, or at least I hope he does cause I would like to try and grab him in my fantasy league draft thats coming up. As for the Panthers qb I think they would be good if Delhomme could stay on the field , also they went after Muhammed this offseason that could free up some room for Smith as well, the Panthers are looking good on paper right now lol.
We aren't super bowl contenders, but we are Division Champion material.

Smith's worst statistical years were when Muhammad was opposite him. Check it.

I don't know what to consider that, it could be partly because Smith was young and still upcoming or Muhamad was the bigger and better target. There are a lot of reasons that 4 to 5 seasons ago Muhamad was getting better numbers.

I'm not saying the Panthers will be bad, I'm saying look for a worse statistical year for Steve Smith. Plus he does not stay healthy long enough to be on the field.
