Well, since that thread was made about the top 50 Players, I'm gonna start with my top 10 QBs... and eventually move on to each Position... (But I'm gonna count O-Line as one...cause I don't know much about them, since I didn't get to watch a whole lot last year).
The way I'm basing my opinion is I think no matter what team these QBs were on, they'd produce the same or better numbers.
#1) Peyton Manning - The guy is a genious at the Quarter Back pos. A lot of times, when defenses think they have Peyton finally figured out, he switches it all up, and keeps the defense on there toes. Not much more you can ask from this guy. Already broke records, will break more. 10/10
#2) Tom Brady - The guy is arrogant. The guy is an *******. His smile is annoying. But despite all that, he still manages to win games. The last few super bowl runs, his offensive line had been amazing at giving him time to find open windows in the defense. This year, the offensive line went to crap. But he has amazing wide reciever talent. Perfect Season, but a Giant lose at the Superbowl keeps him * #2. 9.9/10
#3) Ben Roethlisberger - When he was drafted by the Steelers, I thought that he wasn't going to be anything. He went into a talented team, and made the very best of it; won a super bowl. He started loosing talent, and instead of him just going down the drain, he kept putting up numbers. 9/10
#4) Tony Romo - He came from no where to big times. He stayed pretty much consistent each time he got out there. Still makes a few small mental mistakes from time to time, but all in all, he's still one of the best QBs right now. 9/10
#5) Carson Palmer - Palmer is a good QB in a great offensive system. I don't really have much to say about him. 8.8/10
#6) Drew Brees - Not amazing at everything, but not bad at anything either. He got the job done in San Diego, only had to go because all the money put into Rivers. I think Brees is an excellent QB. 8.5/10
#7) Matt Hasslebeck - The year the S'Hawks went to the Super Bowl, they were all on the back of Alexander, but it's not like the Seahawks had to go at it with a running game alone. Hasslebeck has put it under the weather numbers his whole career. I think this year with more emphasise, atleast it looks that way, on the passing game, we could see a good season from him.
#8) Eli Manning - This is either the right spot or a big push. Eli had a lot of bad games, but he turned it around this season and maybe he isn't that bad. He does still have a lot of time to grow. 8/10
#9) Vince Young - The only double threat starting QB right now. I don't really consider Jackson (Vikings) a double threat, because most teams are not afriad of Jackson's throwing abilities. Young impressed a lot of people his rookie year, and still is impressing people. If he could devolp an arm, he'll be amazing. 7/10
#10) Marc Bulger - A lot went into this one. I don't really see a lot of good QBs in the league right now, atleast not starting. Bulger, when healthy, is a great and reliable QB. Won't make a lot of bad passes and because of him, Kurt Warner is in Arizone (Yes, I know he went to New York first) 7/10
Okay, now it's your turn.

Wow, really? I love Ben and all but you really think he is better than Brady? I've always thought Peyton and Tom were always going to be #1 and #2, in any order, on top QB lists.

I think Ben is going to do some really amazing things in the future. While I accept that Tom is an amazing QB, maybe one of the best ever, I think that Big Ben is going to be better in the long run. How old is Brady now, getting into his 30's right? Perhaps he has peaked now? Rothlisberger still has a lot in him, maybe a lot more.
That needs to be clarified in these kinds of lists, are we talking about who we think is the best QB right now? Cause then Brady would be number two. If most valuble, or overall QB, then I'll take Ben on my team.
1) Peyton Manning - He is the best QB in the NFL and possibly the best to ever play QB in the NFL. The guy is amazing. He is extremely accurate, has a very strong arm, and is a coach on the field, smarter than pretty much anyone else on the field with him. He makes Marvin Harrison look like he is a great receiver when he isn't. Manning makes Harrison and Wayne look better than what they are.
2) Tom Brady - He has done it without receivers, and then does it even better with them. The best thing about Tom Brady is that he TAKES CARE OF THE FOOTBALL. He doesn't throw interceptions. If he threw as many INT's as other mortal QB's he wouldn't be as good as what he is, because he isn't really that accurate and he doesn't have that strong of an arm. But his ability to not turn the ball over (even when he fumbles it turns into a tuck rule) makes him #2
3) Tony Romo - He has started 26 regular season games and has thrown 55 TD's. Last year he threw 36 TD passes and threw for more yards than any QB in Cowboys history with 4211. His career QB rating is a 96.5 which I'll take any day (Peytons is a 94.7 and Tom terrifics is a 92.9). He won the QB skills competition at the Pro Bowl displaying how accurate he can be. He still has a lot to learn as a starter and needs more experience, but his ability to improvise and create plays out of nothing plus his speed and athleticism that most don't realize he has make him an excellent QB. He hasn't won a playoff game yet but has only been a starter for 1 full season, the lack of production in the playoffs so far is what makes him #3 instead of #2.
4) Ben Roethlesberger - A bad year in 2006 is the only thing keeping him from having unbelievably amazing stats. Early in his career a great defense and running game helped him a lot because he didn't have to win the game, only not lose it. After having a not so good season in 2006 he bounced back with another good one in 2007. Has shown the ability to create plays using his size. Needs to improve on his accuracy, but is still one of the best QB;s in the league.
5) Kurt Warner - Laugh all you want, go look at his stats. The guy has a 93.2 QB rating over 10 years in the NFL thats starting 93 games. The only thing that keeps people from realizing how good this guy is... is the fact that he gets hurt too often. In 1999 he threw for 41 TDs and then in 2001 he threw for 36. He had a horrid season in 2002, if he would have just had an average season instead he would have one of the greatest QB ratings of all time for a career. Oh, and he is from IOWA
6) David Garrard - Okay.. I dunno if he is really this good, but he was at least the 6th best QB in the league last year. To start 12 games and only throw 3 INT's while throwing 18 TD's.. Any coach would take that. He looked liek he knew what he was doing last year in the Jags games I saw. Didn't take unnecessary risks, nothing spectacular, but nothing extremely damaging to his team. We will see if he keeps it up this year.
7) Carson Palmer - I have to put him on the top 10 list because he has everything you want in a starting QB.. But the guy has been throwing to a GROUP of prett good receivers, I have a feeling if the Bengals lost Chad Johnson Palmer would suddenly go from a top 10 QB to someone fans are complaining about and trying to run out of town.
8) Donovan Mcnabb - The main thing that puts McNabb low on the list is a lack of Accuracy. He just isn't very accurate, never has been. But he has shown the ability to create plays, and has a nice strong arm. He needs to try to stay healthy, but I have a feeling the injury bug will continue with him and he won't be around much longer.
9) Matt Hasselbeck - "We want the ball we are gunna score". I had a hard time deciding between Hasselbeck and Brees for 9/10 but ultimately decided to go with Matt here above Brees because I've seen SO MANY seahawks receivers drop balls in and out of the endzone that I think if they caught passes like a normal NFL team his stats would look a lot better. He is a solid QB.
10) Drew Brees - Sporadic at times, but has the ability to play at a top level. The fact that he just sometimes seems to get into a funk at various times from game to game keeps him from being higher on the list, but he had what it took to crack into my top 10.

I had trouble not putting Kurt in my list... I love the guy and still think he's great... sucks he is on a team where they have a QB that is gonna be there future already... and he is getting older.
Still.. I'd love to have him in Carolina.

Hopefully the offensive line is up to blocking this year or Ben might have a short career, I agree though he does have potential to become better than he is now and Arains is opening up the playbook a lot for Ben, not to mention if Sweed can become something then the Steelers will have a very solid group of receivers.
