The 2004 Schedule

Hey everyone, I would like to know what ya'll think about your favorite team's schedule for the next season, as it was released yesterday. I know that we have already known the opponents, but the times and places can be a huge factor, just like the NFC South playing no one but NFC South Members near the end of the season for 5 straight weeks.

As for my Texans, I think we have a good chance this year. We're going against the AFC West and NFC North. We have a Nationally Televised game against the Packers on Sunday Night! This will be promoted big time I think because it is a sure Hall of Fame vet in Brett Favre versus the young David Carr. The Texans also have two possible cold weather games later in the season at Denver and Chicago. Brrrrr.

I know it is early, but I predict 10-6.

Wins: Chargers, at Lions, Raiders, Jaguars, Titans, at Jets, Colts, at Bears, at Jaguars, Browns
Losses: at Chiefs, Vikings, at Titans, at Broncos, at Colts, Packers

10-6? No, they'll lose at home to the Colts and they'll lose at Jets. Those are two bold predictions.

The Chiefs, I'm pumped about their schedule. We get to host Indy and go to Tennessee. I can't wait to beat both of those teams and just laugh at all the Titans fans around here.

And the Chiefs get THREE Monday Night Football Games! Hell yeah! AND the opening Sunday Night Game.... suuuuuuuhweeeeeeeeeet!

I love it.. Nothing could be as difficult as my boys schedule last year.. they played
Eagles twice
NE (won Super Bowl) - Bellicheck wanting to kill Parcells was in NE
Carolina (went to SUper Bowl)..
The Giants in NY second game of season with Bill Parcels as new Head coach
The Jets in NY third game of season with Bill Parcels as new Head coach
The Giants again (wanting a victory so bad after the steal the cowboys gave them in week 2)
The super bowl champs from the year before TB Bucs. In Tampa Bay
Arizona - Not usually big but Emmitt went there last year
And then of course 2 games against thier biggest rival the Redskins

They also played 4 games AGAINST various teams that had thier buy week the week before they played the cowboys.

This Year:
Yes we play the eagles twice and the redskins twice..
But WHAT FUN this year with TO in PHILLY!!
And Gibbs is back.. what a hoot..
Yes we play the #1 ranked offense from last year Min Viks at Min first game of season
But what a challenge for Newman.. have fun trying to cover Randy.. No other Cowboy has been able to
Then we get the browns at home..
We play the Steelers but its at home.. ANOTHER Rivalry
We get to go to GB and play Favre.!! I love it
Detroit at home
Bengals in Cinncy
Baltimore..
DA BEARS on thanksgiving.. I live in Iowa.. Bears fans here.. weeeeeeee
Seahawks
Saints..

And of course the Giants twice..


Not as much crap as last year.. the new stories this year will be great.. TO, Gibbs, Favre, Steelers..

And they have 3 monday night games after being SNUBBED last year.. and a sunday night game (the last of the season)

And to top it all off.. They don't have 2 away games in a row this year!!! GREAT

The last time the packers had 2 MNF home games in one year...1996!

Week thirteen: at eagles: loss 17-6
Week fourteen: vs. lions: win 13-10
Week fifteen: vs. Jaguars: win 21-18
Week sixteen: at vikings: loss 20-18
week seventeen: at bears: win 17-3

overall: 12-4

The Broncos will definitely go at least 10-6... maybe even 11-5.

I like the the lineup for the Titans we only play four playoff teams from last year and the dolphins who barely missed the playoffs. If we can win 3 out of the 5 i can see us going 13-3 or 12-4 but its still too early to predict anything. Unless your a Chiefs fan you can look forward to a beatdown.

I have to say that he can just wait. We'll go in and knock down the Titans at their home turf. When we're done, they'll be saying "Remember the Titans!!" because all that's left will be pulp that used to be the Titans.

I dunno guys... after reading it over and over again, it looks to me like he is saying that all teams OTHER than the Chiefs can expect a beat down. I am sure it is just grammatical error, but if it stays the way it does, then that looks like a compliment to the good'ole Chiefs!
