Overtime Changes

An item on the owners meeting agenda is to discuss allowing each team to have a possesion in OT. I think it would be good but don't do it the same as NCAA. It should be like this:

Coin Toss
Winner gets their decision to kick or recieve
If that team scores the other team will have to tie it or go for the win that possesion
After the first two possesions no more FGs or extra points!!!!!!

The competition commitee has already ruled that overtime changes, and playoff formats will not be changed at the owners meetings..

I think they should.. but they wont be. Instead they are discussing stupid things like throwing flags for team celebrations.. Hey it takes the whole team to get a guy in the endzone.. last I heard it was a team game, the team should be able to celebrate together not one guy showing off.. As long as it doesn't directly insult the other team it should be allowed..

I think the OT should be like college. In sudden death, the winner of the coin toss wins the game more often than not.
