Update: As expected, the Raiders and Vikings completed a trade Wednesday that sent Moss to Oakland in exchange for linebacker Napoleon Harris, the seventh overall pick in April's draft and a late-round pick, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: An afternoon press conference is scheduled to announce the deal. Moss joins Jerry Porter to give quarterback Kerry Collins a fearsome duo at wide receiver.

sigh....the only reason I'm against this is because I hate the raider nation. I'm sorry that's just who I am. Some people are born to be rich, others to be poor, but for me, it's to hate the raiders. There should be a crime against Team Discrimination, because I NEVER talk to raider fans.
I got to believe Coach T. convinced everyone that the Vikings need more talent on Defense. That has to be behind the Moss-N.Harris trade. Hope it is worth it. The last five years show that you've got to have talented linebackers to be leaders in your defensive scheme. Look at the Patriot's Defense as an example. N. Harris has a reputation as a smart player that can lead. Thats got to be the Number 1 reason Tice got rid of Moss. There have been so many times in the last two years that a Vikings lead was blown in the last quarter of a game due to dumb defensive errors. Dumb offensive errors too - like Moss walking off the field when Cullpepper was throwing a "trick pass" to him. Moss's immaturity and the bad hamstring is probably the reason he was traded. Delsecure
It was dumb trade if u ask me. I know Moss has issuses but he's one of the top 3 WR's in the league. That kinda of talent is hard to come by. I know there D is weak but Harris isn't the answer. They need DB's and LB's. They could have picked up one of those positions on the FA market. The Radiers defense sucked last year. Harris did nothing that made me think he was all that great. I really don't see him making a big difference next year. I guess they know something that we don't. We'll see!!!!!!!
I HATE THIS and I am a raider fan why do they go after the old players they could of gotten much better for harris than a reciever who is on his last home stretch not tomention all the expectations of the brown rice combo shows yeah older is not nessasarily better I think they should send Moss back to the VIkings and keep Harris
Humm...I cant think of much to say about this trade besides that it was dumb....Harris isnt going to help their D any and they gave away one of the most athletic WR's out there, as Dlove pointed out, what were you thinking Minnisonta you could have gotten a whole lot more geshhhh
I don't think you can judge this trade just yet. There are a few things that need to happen before people start saying its a stupid trade.
First of all, the only true way to judge this trade will be in a few years when you see who the Vikings pick up with the draft pick and what he does for the franchise. They could select someone who will be a dominant player.
Harris could turn out to be a great pick up. They have a very young and talented core of Linebackers. The biggest problem they had was missed assignments on defense. The linebackers need to improve, but they can all run and are very fast. It will be interesting to me to see if this group gels and progresses as a unit.
Just look back when San Diego traded the number 1 pick to the Falcons. Everyone said how stupid San Diego was because they were basically trading Vick. I think San Diego made out very good in that trade as they ended up with Tomlinson and Brees finally broke out last year.
To say this trade is stupid now is just silly. Wait to see who they take with the draft pick , see how Harris works with the defense, and how Moss works out in Oakland. Then we can see if this trade was "stupid".
