Garbage for Garbage???
In the offseason the cowboys traded Galloway for Keyshawn.
Then the boys Release a Quincy.
Now they have traded another reciever and added a Quincy back on the team
In short the cowboys trade Antonio -(Thinks he is randy moss, and has an attitude like him)- Bryant for Quincy Morgan.
Good move for the cowboys in my opinion... they got rid of a guy who although he has talent, is nothing but trouble... and pick up a guy who will bye into bills system and be happy to be the 3rd receiver, and will block for the backs. Maybe this will help the running game.
Regarless we unloaded a bad attitude and got something for it... and its better than the Larry Johnson and a 3rd the chiefs were offering...

good move for the browns as well. cleveland aint got a true go-to WR, so this is a pre 2005 draft attempt to solve that problem, and if he aint then he ought to be a 2nd WR
also it gives the browns a trash talker, especially when they play j lue and the ravens. the trash talk battle between bryant and j lue ought to be good lol

Yeah it also gives garcia what he's been missing.. another receiver to tell him what to do.. garcia has been lost without TO telling him what to do and when to do it now he'll have a 23 year old telling him what to do and when to do it...

Reports out of Dallas are that the Cowboys decided to trade Bryant because of his attitude.
He fought with Parcells in the preseason, throwing his jersey in Parcell's face. He continues to complain on the sidelines about playing time and catches, and he does not like Keyshawn at all.
Parcells hopes before the season were that Keyshawn could come in and mentor Bryant much the same way that Chris Carter did to Moss. But Bryant refused to accept Keyshawn as a mentor, possibly viewing him more as another threat to his playing time and catches, and resenting him from the start.
Bryants continued sideline tantrums and bad attitude earned him the boot and any possibility of being the future #1 WR in Dallas.
My opinion on the matter... Bryant has talent, its too bad he couldnt behave. I really liked what I saw on the feild from him and I think, when he grows up, he will be one of the top 5 in the game. I'm disappointed that the boys traded him, but I also see why they did.
I am not in any way saying that Bryant is as good as Moss.... But this question keeps running through my head...."What if Dallas HAD drafted Moss? Would they have traded him away after a season and a half of his attitude?"

To answer your last question the answer is NO, Bill Parcells was not the coach back then... And Moss is 500 times the receiver bryant is.. or will ever be.. Moss is the best receiver in the league and if he had the work ethic of Jerry Rice and remained helthy he would shatter all Ric'es record.. (but moss doesn;t have the work ethic)

I think they could of gotten something better than Morgan for Bryant. Did they get any picks with it since I haven't read that yet. and I won't since I'm typing while looking at my TV for the Boston game.

No.. it was a straight up pick but bryant was in the last year of his contract and there was no way they were going to resign him...
Last week he refused to come out of the game on a play and Vinny had to call a timeout cause there were 12 men in the huddle...

Whoa... dude's got an attitude. He wouldn't have lasted long in KC either, knowing Dick Vermeil and the players he likes to have. I'm kinda glad that Bryant didn't end up here now that I'm reading about him...

Cash, I already said Bryant isnt Moss... But I do believe he can be one of the Top 5 in the game if he straightens up a little bit.... Moss doesnt have the Work Ethic, but every one who talks about Bryant says he does, he has been compaired to Irvin when talking about his efforts in practice and staying after hours to work out and watch film. He is just a young guy without disipline right now, much like Moss was his first few years....
Im just saying that maybe the Cowboys reacted too fast in trading him, and they traded a WR with #1 talent for a WR that will never be anything more than #3.... they should have gotten more...

Ok heres the problem for the cowboys.. Keyshawn and Glenn are good, better than bryant, but bryant wants to be a #1. But when bryant comes in the game he is undisciplined and doesn't run his routes right etc etc.. so he has to not be in, yet when he's not in he's throwing fits and cussing ou the receivers coach. You can't win there.. so you need to unload the guy and get whatever you can for him..
Top 5? No way Never. Maybe top 20.. which would be a heck of a leap for him cause right now hes more like 60-80 range. I mean top 5 your talking Holt, Moss, Harrison, Owens, Ward (who made newman look like an infant). Top 10 throw in guys like Andre Johnson, Isaac Bruce, Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Jevon Walker.
Then you get to your Jimmy SMiths, plaxico burreses, Keyshawns, Glenns etc etc etc...
You like bryant cause he was young and a cowboy and everyone overhyped his abilities. He will NEVER EVER be a Randy Moss or TO, no matter how hard he works. Even if he lost the attitude (which I doubt he will lose)
Regardless, Even if he goes to the browns and becomes a superstar (LOL HAHAHA he's another M'f'n Soldier LOL) It doesn't matter cause he could not have stayed a cowboys you can't have his cancer in the locker room, or on the sidelines.
