Sorry Shaq

This is my official apology to Shaq.. You see today I saw he was traded to the Cavs.. and at first I thought "Wow.. Shaq and Lebron thats going to be pretty wicked" Then I went and looked a bit more into it and that's when I noticed... uhm.. Shaq was with the Suns? Oops.. I mean really I don't follow basketball like I do football. I watch it a bit here and there, mostly when Lebron or Kobe is playing.. also some of the playoffs (like I said when Lebron or Kobe is playing).

But I seriously thought Shaq was still on the Heat.. I'm sorry Shaq.. that I didn't even know what team you played for.. Then again.. Maybe it should be Shaq that is sorry.. that the 'casual' fan doesn't even know what team he plays for.. maybe that's a sign.

But I like it.. The Cavs.. they decided the best way to beat the L.A. Kobes is to go get Shaq. Like, that's the key to victory. Well.. I don't know a lot about the NBA but I know this... in order to beat him.. you need to MAKE IT to the finals to play against him...:banghead:

SO.. please make it.. because I WANT to see that series next year in the Finals.

It's LeBron's last contract year in Clevland. Grabbing Shaq was a last hope thing to try and get LeBron to resign with the Cavaliers next season.

As far as Shaq goes... I think a contract in the NBA and the trades in the NBA aren't as meaningful as the ones in teh NFL. Like... totally don't know where AI anymore... or if he even playing. I think T-Mac has been traded again. Unless your the player the team that they build it around, such as a Kobe, or a LeBron or a Howard.

But, I like the move in a 1 year sort of mind frame... but... I don't like it in the long run.
