The Jets traded defensive lineman Dewayne Robertson to the Broncos for an undisclosed draft pick or picks, ESPN.com's Bill Williamson reported Thursday.
A few years ago he was hyped so much in a NFL draft magazine as the next Warren Sapp... Didnt panned out I assume...

I have nothing but good memories of playing for the Bills. It's something I cherish. When I was playing for the Pats, I'd wear a Bills T-shirt under my uniform. Someone came up to me one day and said, 'Fred, no matter what you wear on the outside, you,ll always be a Buffalo Bill on the inside.'
Well, part of it is I think he doesn't fit Mangini's 3-4 defense, but yeah, he still has been a bit of an upset. I'm curious to see what pick they gave up to get him though. I imagine the pick won't be that high.
I could be wrong but when I look back to the last 5-6 years DT looks like the hardest position to make the transition from College to pro football...
The 2003 class which included Robertson is a good example for this. In that year in round 1 next to him Jonathan Sullivan, William Joseph, Tyler Brayton, Jimmy Kennedy were also drafted in round 1 and I dont think they have superb careers so far. Only Vikings Kevin Williams turned out to be an excellent DT.
