..it seems like Cash is showing the game on his broadcast too, which is pretty bad ***. I have NFL Network, but that's still a really cool thing to do, Cash.
The NFL DOES want to charge, period. I work in the television industry, and know exactly what they are asking. DirecTV is opting to eat the additional cost, and I think that is a good idea, but it doesn't take away from the fact of what the NFLN is asking for.

No, the NFL doesn't want the companies that carry thier station to CHARGE the customers for the station. They want it to be offered with thier basic package..
It's amazing you work in the television industry and yet fail to understand that basic simple point. Glad I could clear it up for you.. considering it is the whole problem here.

The NFL doesn't want the cable companies to charge for the network, correct. The NFL, however, wants to charge quite a bit in order for the cable companies to carry the channel. What they want doesn't match up with what they're offering.
