Well, first off, the game is playing live on his tv and he is posting as the game happens...
Secondly, at the end of the game, he can view the stats either before he exits or afterward at the Week screen.

I believe the ONLY games he is playing out in the first week of Preseason are the user controlled teams. He is not going to play out the CPU.

If you look carefully at the format of his posts between the User controlled teams games and the CPU-CPU games, it is quite noticeably different. He did somewhat of a play-by-play for the games involving User controlled teams and he just posted stats for the CPU games (you can view stats on Madden even if the game is only simmed.)
Look....
2 CPU-CPU games..
Cash has already stated somewhere in this Forum that he is only going to play out User teams. The games are a little over an hour and he is spreading out the season over these next few weeks. Realistic stats do not matter at all in this sim league, we are basing the winner on WINS. Doing it this way also makes the users think harder, adjusting gameplans and the like.

Okay, now i know the difference.
I never played Madden and still iam unsure where the big difference between simming and outplaying is...
If you say that outplaying owner duels is better, then i will believe you and Cash.

I think we have all assumed that each "owner" had, at one time or another, actually played and spent time with Madden 2004. I for one had no clue you had never played it. For this reason, I will post an "FYI" for all League members... of course to be edited by Cash when he feels the need.

Thanks for the infos, stunner.
I hope my sliders are okay, but Cash helped me a lot there.
My knowledge of American Football in general is quite good, but because i never played Madden i have some difficulties from time to time with the game.
But now everything is clear and i cant await the regular season to start! |
